Yeah. I seem to remember a League Cup semi final Villa had against Tranmere in the 90's. Tranmere were 3 up I think until Villa got a late consolation and ended up beating them with ease them back at Villa Park. You could sense the disappointment in the Tranmere players and fans even though they'd won the first leg comfortably.
I heard Laudrup on the radio this morning saying, in response to the comment about their fixtures building up after yesterday's draw, that he was excited at the prospect of it all.

Considering the eight-year contract, our lot clearly believe they're cleverer than everyone else and that he'll turn things around given time. We'll see.
Genuinely wonder whether did that because they thought the FA would want him for the England job, so wanted to be sure of securing the compensation.
I refuse to believe that a professional footballer cannot pass a ball 10-20 yards. They may look poor relative to the players around them, or at Premier League level, but they've become professional by being, in general, good players.
