  1. I have no feelings towards Chelsea. It's Liverpool I wanted in 5th.

    Joe Willock

Can I ask, as someone who doesn't watch NUFC any more, what is his general play like? It's easy to be blinded by this ridiculous purple patch he's going through, but I wondered what kind of player we'd have when normality returns and he's not scoring every game.
  3. I think it highlights just how cold and ruthless Ashley is. I'd guess that the other owners, whilst being completely driven by money, maybe still appear to understand the importance of trying to make their club successful on the pitch as well as off it. Ashley is completely disconnected to the fact that NUFC is a football club and doesn't give a fuck about what football is meant to be about.
  4. Watching for injuries might be interesting though.
  5. Hopefully given him plenty to stew over in the summer before even more people can get into the ground.
  6. Literally anything would be better than Talksport Turning it off and listening to the van's engine is better.
  7. You can see the way it's going. Leicester and WHU dropping daft points, goalkeepers scoring deep into injury time. It's only ending one way. Cunts.
  8. To be fair, this is where we have no knowledge of what was done. We can't say what they did and didn't do.
  9. Cheers @Jackie Broon That F.4.2 rule seems to tie their hands, although I can almost hear the PL saying "but they never made their declaration so the five day period never started". The complexity hurts my head.
  10. I am sorry if I am not seeing something that is right in front of me Jackie, but I suppose I can see Fantail's point in that I cannot see where it states that the information must be provided within a certain time frame. Am I being thick ? (my excuse is that i've had a shite day at work)
  11. The Stamford Bridge match going crowd is very different now to what it was in the 80's.
  12. I totally get why there's doubt. Every day we watch the government flaunting corruption right in front of our faces and it feels like those people are untouchable. The powerful are tough to beat and bring to task. We've just got to hope that Ashley has the bit between his teeth and is prepared to be as nasty as possible in return.
  13. It's not an unreasonable thought. Thing is though, by not making the decision, they've brought on a multi million pound court case. If they knew they couldn't approve it, but wanted to avoid court with all of the associated costs (which everyone wants, surely), then they could nip it in the bud and formally reject it. They've chosen not to.
  14. I believe they are fighting it on behalf of outside sources and the people to whom they bow down to.
  15. Yep. Allow it or reject it. If they are so confident, tell the Consortium that they've failed the ODT test.
