  12. Its about time a penalty for that kind of man handling was given. Loved the shot of Ivanovic shouting "who?? me ??" Tosser
  13. I think we should be pleased we didnt concede to one of his throws. Of anyone in the league, we would seem most culpable to one of them. I bet they went into the game thinking they would score from at least 1 of them.
  14. Its probably football snobbery to be honest. Most teams would use a long throw if the opportunity arises but I think people assume that Stoke's whole game plan is about lumping it up front to get as many thrown ins as possible We all want to see brilliant flowing football - not a style of play based on 1, albeit successful, set piece.
  15. Hopefully thats the last we hear of this, this week. We dont need this dragging on for days on end
  16. Do you have any proof of that? All of those statements are matters of opinion, so of course there's no proof. But I can't see that there's much doubt that Keegan didn't like working to a DOF. He'd stayed away from the game for three years and not been to a single match, so the idea that he was disillusioned with football isn't a wild one. His company wasn't doing well so again it's not exactly sticking your neck out to say that that influenced his decision to return. Not to mention he quit after only a few months in circumstances that are still unclear. The most logical explanation is that his motivation was always a bit brittle. Not for the first time either. Yet despite his company supposedly struggling, he still chose to walk away from the sport that he loves. Says everything about football as a whole, never mind just NUFC.
  17. To be fair I think only 1 of them came across as a dickhead. The other one seemed level headed enough to hold a sensible conversation (DannyStokie)
