Aye but we are playing Villa. The point is that its still extremely close in the league right now, we are only 4 points from the top half. For me, it would have helped if Kinnear hadnt have come out with another whole heap of shite this morning
-
You better start supporting someone else then I fear. The timing of this game couldnt be worse for chipping away further at our confidence and for heaping more pressure on the team. Be a very tense atmosphere tomorrow night

Aye but we are playing Villa.

Dont worry lads, Joe is going to reduce the size of our squad. We are in safe hands
-
All the teams down the bottom have done well this weekend... maybe we can continue the trend ?
-
Fucking hell. What kind of team are Man City ? Be very afraid Mr Hughes
-
Some fans were booing him after the 0-0 against Villa, our first home game of the season. The opinion that only Keegan or Shearer would get time is sad but true. Difficulty for Sam is that a lot of fans probably had a pre-set idea of what Sam's style of football was going to be like. I agree it may have been harsh on the fella but Sam didnt really prove them wrong. I wasnt at the Villa game so I dont know what it was like.

What... did they sever his telephone lines and cancel his mobile and broadband connection ??

OH FUCKING HELL AYE I WOULD TAKE IT
-
Oh bloody hell man. Its like they just put a bunch of "will they" "wont they" stories into a bingo machine and just pull them out 1 day at a time

Excellent point

You mean they thought their manager wasn't up to the job so replaced him, hardly similar to our situation was it? A similar situation to ours was at West Ham, manager walks out but their fans do to sensible thing which was to be patient and wait to see what the management team do about replacing him, now West Ham have a new manager in place that the fans seem happy with and the old manager is forgotten. Our fans on the other hand decided to take a different route by holding protests outside the ground, waving bedsheets around with incorrect spelling which fans all over the country had a good laugh at, they then decided to try and force the owner to sell the club and call for nobody to buy any pies or programmes until he did, with a few adults seen shouting at young kids for buying one, then when the owner does agree to sell a few of them set up a pressure group a realise one ridiculous statement after the other telling any potential new owner that we won't put up with any of their s*** and threaten to write to all major club sponsors if the club isn't sold by the end of the season, this gets picked up by one the Internets most popular websites for football kit news which makes us a laughing stock again. Then they wonder why the club is unstable at the moment and not like those clubs who's management teams were allowed to get on with things when decisions had to be made. Also Curbishley was no 'Messiah', he was on his way out regardless, he walked before he was pushed. Correct. Their fans didnt have a chance to do anything because West Ham interviewed and appointed a replacement within about 7 days (and publicly told their fans what they were doing and when they were interviewing). By comparison, we had about 12 days between Keegan walking and the Hull game. In that time, we did absolutely nothing

Need Man City to do us a favour today at Bolton
-
If Ashley is in charge dont bet on it. I know Birmingham went down a couple of season ago and still increased their ticket prices
-
It annoys me because I konw that if he was a Newcastle player, he would have broken his arm after 10 minutes of the first game.

As each day passes and as JK holds yet another press conference, its looking like a possibility Depressing
-
Rubbish. I probably wrote that poorly mate. I am right behind Keegan. I think these comments from JK just kind of back up why Keegan walked out.
-
I apologise for saying this but I feel I have to say.... "But of course it was all Keegans fault" No need I know but its just going from one fucking disaster to another.
-
Ah but this is how astute our wonderful management are. Dare I say, they are already preparing the club for next season, and getting the salary structure in place
-
When he tells Owen his plans of surrounding him with Championship players I'm sure Owen will quick to sign. Priceless isnt it ? Jesus we are absolutely fucked this season
-
Good luck keeping Owen, Joe
-
Part of me thinks we may have a deja vu thing going on and we might need him to come and rescue us again. He might be the best bloke for that job if its required. Anyone else might not be capable of it
-
Seriously making me worry as well. I just want him to concentrate on the next game and the next game only. I thought the whole idea was that he was goinig to come in and be detatched from the whole Ashley/Keegan thing and just try to get the team playing again. The fact he is diverting away from this and getting involved in the whole sorry mess just spells trouble for us. After yesterdays results, we didnt need him making these comments - we need 100% focus on getting 3 points tomorrow night - 1 point at worst
-
I agree with that.
