In the week, when asked about the fans reaction to last weeks loss, Megson said "I dont care, they have been against me since I arrived". Worrying comments I would say. I take it you would have him out in an instant ? The supporters were chanting Allardyce's name at the last home game. I'd expect more of the same tomorrow against City. Definitely borrowed time then. Would Gartside take Sam back though ?

Sadly I just remembered that I have a mate who has a Newcastle 5-0 Man Utd mug (official merchandise) :-[

You forgot to prefix that with "after Monday" I heard Ferguson say this morning that he was unhappy with how you took your foot off the gas in the 2nd half against West Ham. I bet he is bouncing of the walls of the dressing room about now.

Chelsea coming up for us in a few weeks

I wonder if Ashley has looked at what Spurs have done and thought that maybe a total change is the way to go Probably the other way around. True

What happens to Stoke if Delap gets injured ?

Jesus RM. Please tell me that is just an over elaborate hoax

I have every faith that our fans will give anyone all the time in the world so long as they appear to be attempting to play decent attacking football and make, on the whole, understandable team selections, transfers etc. Its not a great deal to ask. Sam in general didnt do any of the above and therefore received the expected criticism
-
He's being fed it iyam. I agree entirely. I wonder though if he is being told he must say it "or else" or whether he is offering the info voluntarily (still with the ok to do so from the club).

Why would Joe openly talking about possible transfers in January whilst at the same time telling us he has no idea what is going on whilst telling us that after the Chelsea game, we will find out whats going as the club might be sold or it might not etc etc etc etc. I have nothing against the guy but I wish he would just shut up and concentrate on getting us points on the board

Right, I guess my thought on a ticket is that you're first and foremost purchasing a seat and whatever happens to the money is out of your direct control so I don't consider it investing any more than purchasing an iPod is investing in apple. I guess that still came off sounding dickish in my original post so apologies. As for his professionalism, non-communication is a pretty standard tactic in hostile environments. It's not "being the bigger man" or "turning the other cheek", no, I just said I don't blame him because I'd do the same. I'm a petty bastard myself. Thing is though what we are getting is neither full-on or zero communication - kind of somewhere inbetween. If he wants to give us nothing to get back at us then so be it but he isnt doing that. I think we are safe to assume that he is allowing JK to talk to the media about this stuff otherwise he would have reeled him in like he did with Keegan. Whats fucking piss-boiling is that he is allowing what information there is coming out of the club, to be contradictory and also to be made by their fall-guy in a slapdash and unprofessional manner.

i wouldnt be too sure, it looks like the bait has gone a bit off. Those latest quote also dont offer any suggestion that he is negotiating on the price. Seems a bit like he still has a figure that he wants and is sticking to it. Hopefully that isnt just my cynicism reading too much into it

Pointless argument anyway because as I understand from what the media tell me, Beckhams goal is the greatest goal of all time EVER and no one has ever done anything as good or better ever As for Bentley's goal, he should be applauded for the effort because English football is crying out for players who are a) prepared to attempt these kind of things and b) capable of executing them. It is a crying shame though that along the way he is an undeniably conceited cunt and highly unlikeable.

How can it possibly be "The club will be sold or they will change their minds". Wouldnt it be a case of "It will be sold or else no one wants them so Mike Ashley has no other choice than to carry on under duress" I think I would rather hear nothig than hear shit like this. Just casuing more unneccesary speculation.
-
I honestly just dont know what to make of all this. Why is JK coming out with information, which to the fans is vital, yet the way he puts it across, its like he doesnt really know what he is talking about . He tells us that after Chelsea its D-Day, yet he also says "your guess is as good as mine"... well either you know or you dont. If you dont, shut up and if you do can you make it cold hard facts please. Just making us look more and more stupid and ridiculously indecisive
-
You mean the guy who had proved himself a success all over Europe. Nice comparison
-
He might have no other option if he can't find a buyer. If that's the case then he needs to replace Llambias and allow his replacement to get on with the job, I think he did that anyway but he got the wrong person in, he employed a mate who wasn't and isn't up to the job. I wonder if he had a date in his head by which time, if there are no serious bids for the club, then he has to come out and take control again.

Mark Hughes complaining about the referee's decisions. What goes around, comes around you twat

If Mike Ashley wants a second chance, he hasnt got to ask our permission, he just has to get on and do it. Remains a fact (no pun intended) that he doesnt appear to want to have another go.
-
It was a fluke. Mike Hooper would have saved it. It is too simplistic to say that a professional Goalkeeper should never be beaten from 43 yards like Almunia was tonight
-
Seemed to be loads of mistakes in that Arsenal/Spurs game. Both goalkeepers were shite
-
Different picture in the dressing room now though. Arsenal having a rotten season so far by their standards
