  1. so what would we think of the southerners then? Personally I wouldnt give a fuck if they held a "Geordie Mafia Out" banner up. I like to think I would be able to see where they were coming from.
  2. Does seem like people are thinking too much and looking too deep into it. The guy on Talksport through the night had us and liverpool on as a call subject because he thought it was all about a class war
  3. I think you have had too many already this morning mate
  4. I think you would have to be on poppers to manage this club. Good idea to try to keep the football for as long as possible because its going to be a long week i think.
  5. I know what the reaction would have been if he ran up the steps and twatted Llambias
  6. "Rovers fear Ince, who only joined them in the summer, could be tempted" What utter tripe. On what basis are they able to print stuff like this
  7. Bobby doesnt actually say whether Llambias spoke to him at any length. I would expect that he just brushed SBR off.
  8. Why was he sat there by himself today? Because the others are more well-known targets for the abuse and/or unavailable anyway. Pity really as we could have probably seen some cracking attempts to spell his name on the banners outside.
  9. Because the player that the crack manager has defended since he's came is also suspended. A suspension that the crack team would have known was coming
  10. That's my feeling on the matter and why I have taken sides on this. meanwhile keegan says he had the final say (but really knows he hasn't)............i call that a lie.....what do you call it ? Or.... he thought he'd be having the final say, and then when it gets to deadline day and players are thrust upon him, he realises it not to be the case. I smell an attention seeker. Aren't both of your opinions perfectly viable - why is it that his is automatically wroing and is labelled an attention seeker? Im pretty sure Keegan said he had a say in who he wanted in that role. Something like there had been a discussion when he took the job and a list of people who were candidate for this role and of them he said he'd prefer that Wise came in... Cant remeber the exact quote. You're missing my point completely. I think Keegan DID agree to the structure. but it's plain for all to see that he did not agree to have NO say in transfers. That is backed up with quotes from keegan, Wise and Ashley in recent times. Yup thats my take on it. The club are using the word "structure" and trying to make people believe that within that Keegan also agreed to no involvment in transfers. They do know the internet exists right ? or they know contracts exist Well that of course is the deciding factor. We will never ever know what was in the contract unless this thing rumbles on into court EDIT : Please god dont let Keegan be stupid enough to walk out knowing he was in breach of his contract. I cant believe he would be
  11. Our lass suffers from that once a week

  13. Yet another nail in football's coffin
  14. This the club say keegan joined the club agreeing to this structure. why should i belive either ? I think Keegan did agree to the structure. But thats slightly different to who had the final word on transfers. Tellingly, the club didnt state that FACT on the web site.

Club shop wont be though. Club merchandise is huge for us. Thats the area that would hit him hardest
  16. Was that Chris de Burgh in the Chelsea end celebrating that Lampard goal ?
  17. Not condoning it at all as it was dreadful but Gutherie Challenge = Fans frustrations of the last 10 days
  18. Shows how keen Keegan is to make it work? [/straws] Nah thats a fair point Dave. Your sitting in Spain, playing golf, sitting on the beach away from the UK press. So easy for him just to tell Ashley to "piss off and speak my lawyers" but he didnt. He made the effort to come back
  19. that was interesting... hadnt realised that Keegan had flown in from Spain especially for the meeting with Mike Ashley
  20. Yeah I was waiting to throw my head in my hands at a dreadful decision and in the end it was was nailed on really.
  21. I was saying this to the misses today. I`ve been thinking since it all happened "poor Keegan" . After todays defeat ( Everyone knows we wouldnt have lost if he had been here) I have changed my mind. I have been stuck in jobs before where I hated every second of it but I stayed in it for the money for my wife and kids, basically people around that I care about more than my feelings. Also didn`t Martin Jol stick in his job regardless of how s*** he was treated over the Ramos thing ( might be wrong I smoke a lot of weed and have a bad memory) I`m pretty sure other managers have stuck at their job for the team despite not getting on with the board. You want a manager who doesn't want to manage and lacks integrity? Yeah. It all ended well for Martin Jol didnt it. He made the right choice sticking around. You said you stayed in a job Rebellious purely for the money for your family. I bet if you had enough money, you wouldnt have stayed there a second longer than necessary.
  22. If there's any truth in this i'll honestly give Ashley loads of credit for at least giving it his best to try and retain Keegan back. As much as i would like to call this another shit media story they were right about all the Keegan/Ashley bust-ups in the end I noticed in the article they used the line "A week of tentative negotiations saw the pair meet on Friday night in a bid to reach a compromise". Am I missing something but none of the media have been reporting this week that they have still been negotiating. Thats why the revelations of them meeting on Friday came as such a shock.
