  1. Saw it on Football First on Sky Was brilliant... very encouraging. Really want the lad to do well
  2. Oh dear ! Kiss me arse. There's plenty of his teammates currently underperforming to a similar degree. Aologies mate. Didnt mean that to come across arsey Barracking of any players like that is not good but I am just not convinced Smith has shown any qualities that other players in the squad show follow Thats ok. I just think it daft that the fans decide to pick one underperforming player ahead of the rest who all have mainly been very poor this season. When things arent going well, there is always one who is singled out above all others. Couple of goals would help change things but his chances may have disappeared now. Perhaps KK dropping him will have a positive effect. Time will tell.

  4. Is this actually a serious conversation ?

We all know that Rooney et al surround and have a go at the ref's and this is exactly what is trying to be stamped out. But so far, they havent been stupid enough to do it 4 days after the most publicised and talked about show of disrepect to an official in Premiership history. I liked that Sky showed Rafa in split-screen as the incident happened. He is clearly seen shouting at Macherano so he knew exactly what was going to happen too. There is just no excuse for him.

I wanted to put my foot through the telly when I heard Andy Gray at half time trying to defend Mascherano and was really getting wound up about it. I wanted Redknapp to chin him "OK. Lets sanitise the game shall we" he said to Redknapp. What a thick ignorant cunt he really is.

    Mr Ferguson

If we are safe by then we should lobby the club to do it... would be fantastic seeing his reaction. Put the youth side out

The fans of Derbys next opponents are going to have a field day
  9. In funnier NOTW news though, Paul Jewell has been caught on video humping some bird

Liverpool are jammy fuckers. They are always likely to get 4th. Be happy if Everton are still sliding by the time we meet them... you never know, we might just need something off them. But agreed. Much rather any of those 3 got there ahead of Liverpool

Agreed. Could ruin what was/is a very good season
  12. For once I will be able to just relax and watch the Sunday matches on Sky without being gutted and pissed off at having been battered the day before. Forgot what that felt like
  13. Thought Martins' effort in the first half would have been a brilliant goal (and would have looked great on TV) if Keller hadnt have pulled off a good save. Great long pass from Enrique and great turn and shot from Oba. All round good football
  14. I wouldn't even quote that fictional table as I'd hate to think anybody thought I'd done it, even only for a second. Maybe he did next seasons table... only explanation really

    For Those Who

I bet they are absolutely gutted every time they see that goal... which they will do for many years to come As mental as I went about that goal, when we squeezed one in two minutes later to win the game was probably a better moment... still buzzing from that and then the realisation that we'd somehow stolen 3 points when we didn't really even deserve one. There are probably dozens of examples of why not to leave early but I think you have just described as good as one as possible there.

  17. Well done with his goal and general performance, but I think that sort thing is utterly pointless and pathetic. Not much more than a "show". See, I disagree with this big time. On a team that has been lacking confidence, getting the lads pumped up can only help. I give credit to Viduka for doing the same thing. There were a couple of occasions earlier in the fisrt half when I saw him encouraging other players. At one point Enrique advanced up the left side and attempted a canny pass that almost slipped past the defender to Viduka's feet. The pass was knocked away and as both Viduka and Enrique turned back to defense the cameras caught Viduka raising his fist and nodding his head towards Enrique as if to say "great job recognizing the opportunity and the pass was almost there." I guess part of my point is that it's awfully hard to be creative when you are afraid to make a mistake and this team has played kind of scared for a while. What I saw today was a team that started to come out it's shell a little and not be afraid to take a few chances. I think experienced finishers like Viduka and Owen leading the cheers is a good thing and I hope they continue doing so. Plus, this season, a lot of people have been saying that we havent had any leaders on the pitch and that we dont appear to have a natural leader. The huddle suggested to me that Owen is trying to take on that role.

You have the other bottom clubs to play at home as well havent you mate. Hope things improve by then... whos next in line ?
  19. Well done with his goal and general performance, but I think that sort thing is utterly pointless and pathetic. Not much more than a "show". Anything that potentially improves morale is worthwhile IMO. I always felt Owen was a bit aloof but recently, he seems to come out of his shell a lot more and just seeing that clip of the huddle showed a side of Owen that I hadnt seen before. Was encouraging. Definite upwards change in his demeanour since KK has come in

What hasnt helped was seeing their last 3 results here (SSN showed them earlier).... 1-2, 1-1, 1-4. Excellent record which I am sure it being drummed into them at every given opportunity Don't give a fuck about the stats tbh. This is our chance to drag ourselves out of it and we'll take it. Chin up, mate. Be brave. Oh aye I mate. The butterflies are less because I do feel a little something clicked on Monday night. I am just a little nervous about getting over-confident. I Remember being in this same position 87(?) (Easter Weekend too) when we played Sheff Wed at home .... it went bloody horribly wrong that day. 1-3 defeat. Edit... 27th March 1989
