So if you're in League D can you, realistically, not reach a major tournament for like 20 years? I don't get it. The good thing now is you get a new chance every 4 years. It also spans generations which is pointless. Imagine the golden generation of Scotland got stuck in league D and the players used their whole career to get to league A.
