That's why I don't think one person has mentioned Lovenkrands since half time. Best has had 2 decent chances , one offside of course. But I think third time lucky. I wouldn't change the attacking options for at least 15mins. See how we start the half.

Not a bad half really. Depor have had some good passing play, but we've been pretty solid in formation and pretty much left them with very few chances, most being from outside the box and skied. Our obvious weak spot is Ryan Taylor at RB, who is trying to be too fancy with some of his passes missing the obvious simple pass. I think Xisco has been pretty poor and has left Jose to clean up a few times. Coloccini and Perch to an extent have been solid at the back and Barton and Guthrie are doing the job in midfield.. cleaning up and Barton is trying to spread the play. Carroll and Best aren't really holding the ball up but then again they have had much to play with. If we put Jonas on the left and possibly but Nolan just behind Carroll I think we could create a few decent chances. Maybe pop tavenier at the back and swap it around accordingly.

He will for sure put Nolan in the side, perhaps in the place of Ranger and play him just behind Carroll. I think we would win with the side I have chosen though. Colo at RB is based on Simpsons likelihood of being injured for this game and I think he is more versatile than STaylor. I haven't actually seen Lovenkrands on the left wing this season, but going by what others have said on this forum it is the wrong decision to put him there. However, we need pace on the wings and good delivery for Ranger and Carroll - he offers us pace, RTaylor offers us good (this season more than last) delivery!

I hope they think they are going to walk over us in the league!! It will really play into our hands!
