    what the f....

Over the last few weeks, I have become less and less bothered about other clubs. Premiership fixtures that don't affect Newcastle's survival have no appeal to me and I doubt they will for the rest of the season. What annoys me more than anything though is the blatant bias towards Newcastle in the press - and it is bias. Like lovejoy said, if we had appointed him we would have been ripped to shreds. And the reason this annoys me so much is because of the complete opposite other clubs get. Negative stories are met with little coverage, but every positive aspect is waxed lyrical by pundits and the papers. It does my tree in. I know a lot of other clubs would like to see us go down - I've been told by fans of rival clubs that it's our fault. We have delusions of grandeur and that we think that we're a big club and deserve to win the league season in, season out. This is absolute rubbish, I can live without winning trophies - I don't have much choice with this, but what I do expect is a team and a manager that is willing to have a go and play their heart out for the people that support them week in, week out. With Keegan and the summer ahead, I honestly believe we will have a go. I have complete faith in the man. And in the future, when Newcastle are back where they belong and the press are wanking all over us, talking us up and Sky are giving us Super Sunday fixtures I'll think back to now and remember how the lot of them have tried their hardest to send us down. Fuck the lot of them.
  2. HAHAHAHA!!!!!! FUCK BRISTOL CITY, FUCK LEICESTER, FUCK CARDIFF, FUCK WOLVES, BECAUSE IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PREMIERSHIP, BABY! Now stay at St. James you cunts!
  3. Hmmm, not sure. In the space of a week our midfield has improved a great deal, not to say that it's overly good, but we're not getting overrun. It' also good to see Keegan not playing the likes of Smith and Duff for the sake of it. I have to feel though that the return of Viduka has something to do with the improvement. I'm not a massive fan of him, especially his attitude, but you can't really argue his quality on the ball. Viduka was on Radio Newcastle before the game saying he tries not to watch football in his free time. Seems like he's not exactly that taken with his profession. Saturday Kitchen tbh Haha, Ready Steady Cook. Butt with a crunching tackle.

  5. good chance?? Good build-up and Owen passes to no-one. Been lively though, just need a bit more quality on the final ball.
  6. This sounds like it's going to be an amazing game! End to end!
  7. Sorry if this has been said, but I had a quick browse and couldn't find anything.. is this on t'internet radio at all? Century? BBC Newcastle?
  8. Where did he say this? I read somewhere that he claimed that we had approached 5 managers at this point, with 2 being Spanish.. Hmm.
  9. The title says "Man City bid for Henry." Thread open. The title says "Man City bid for Henry" The thread is mostly about the old board.. again. Fair play though, see where I went wrong.
  10. He'd never come here anyway. Thread closed.

    Frank Lampard

no doubt the clowns who applauded him a few years back would agree. He's not a great player, he's a poor mans Rob Lee in actual fact, a strong player with a big fat arse and a good shot. Been looking?
  12. Pele...Maradonna...Mark Lawrenson.. We ran out of money. Them knee-ups make me burst out with laughter every time. Heh and the physio room afterwards. "What kind of injury is disturbed?!"
  13. Heh, whenever I think of Allardyce and his 'science' approach, I always think of that scene out of Bassett, England Manager at the Advanced Sports Centre.
  14. Got to disagree with you there. The majority of his signings have been poor and his inept tactics caused us to drop points with teams such as Derby, points that could potentially get us relegated.

  16. Out of interest NE5, do you have any criticism towards the old board whatsoever? Honest question btw.

    Today's other games

It's depressing that two starters for Newcastle only last season are now on the bench for Wigan this season.
  18. I was told by a friend that was there that Ngo had a good game. Nice finish, too. All these youth players are pretty exciting really. Feels like so long since we had potential youth prospects.
  19. This is taking ages. Just get it over with and sign him.
