I think the Big 6 nonsense is from these clubs sitting down and creating a voting bloc some years back. It's less 'Big' based on achievements and more about their control over the league. Case in point, even when they're shite they still get all of the loopholes. Man City turning face after the court cases has been lovely, of course.

Don’t really want either to win the EL. Hoping for a draw.

Yeah but they would have dropped like a stone if there were financial regulations then like there are now. They spent loads and kept bobbing along.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

Surprised that Bruce is breaking the 1. -
Look after yourself fella

The vast majority of baiting and wind up posts from Froggy are in response to people tagging him trying to wind him up when they lose or similar. People can’t have it both ways by winding him up and getting nothing back. It just so happens that he’s much better at winding people up than many on here.

I think pretty much everyone has been saying this forever. I can't think of anyone on the board that doesn't think that the squad needs to be developed.

Need to rewatch Brasseye in memory of Eddie x -
Aye, I'm definitely going more on opinion and a quick scroll of the fixture list than anything else. I do have their great run at the end of last year's league that got them out of the mire in my mind.

I'd have to have a look - have they dropped many points against these kind of teams so far?

I’m happy with Murphy being in the 1st XI for a number of reasons, and I never thought that would be the case even a year ago. However, we need depth desperately. My mind shift has moved from an out and out replacement, but it’s definitely a prime spot for a big upgrade. I want Murphy to still be involved heavily on current form and attitude. He offers so much on and off the pitch.

I think that we arguably have the tougher fixtures remaining out of us, Chelsea, Forest and City. It’s all opinion, but it’ll certainly be close. 3rd-5th is between us 4 teams currently and 3rd already has a pretty good buffer. Chelsea would be the most likely to slip away out of those 3. Could have done with them losing yesterday to be honest.

Aye, just realised I quoted the wrong thing. 😂 I was referencing the Man City ownership. But luckily it still works with Yasir.

His family, particularly his children, travel to matches regularly. They were always out of school for that reason.

Same, been rough today. George and Dragon was open for the game - were you out or at home?

If they built a 65,000 seater stadium and the pumped a load of money into Leazes Park to make it a large usable and clean parkland area whilst also giving room and a clear roadmap for expansion… I’d be more than happy with that.

They do have laws, but it isn’t a written constitution. Sharia law isn’t interpretation to the degree that you state and to be honest you are misrepresenting the country somewhat. Yes, witches wizards and witchcraft (along with music) is considered haram. I have also performed in the pit band for Phantom of the Opera in KSA and in the orchestra for Bocelli when he performed there. Shrek the Musical was also performed there recently. You’re using the ‘it’s legal to kill a man with an arrow in York’ argument and ignoring reality. It isn’t a dictatorship, it is an absolute monarchy. You may not agree with either of these as a ruling structure but there is a difference. For the record I don’t agree with many of the rules there but it is tiresome to hear people spout stuff about KSA and the Middle East with very little or no first hand knowledge.

Controversial, but I don't begrudge Maddison not signing for us. At that time Spurs were probably in a stronger position overall, were more established and probably seemed like a more secure route to CL and regular England appearances. There's also the pull of London which may or may not be a factor. The same situation happens this summer transfer window and I think there's a different outcome. We're putting more players into the England camp, have shown consistent top finishes, two cup finals in three seasons and a desire to improve our players through coaching and mentoring. Two seasons ago, there were still question marks as we were early on in the project. But having said all of that, I think we're well past a player like Maddison now.

It’s to do with the most recent Traitors game. Nothing to do with a snidey non-player like yourself.

it’s a different Emirate to be fair so there is a degree of separation. ALDAR sponsorship, along with Etihad is somewhat on the nose.
