Just saw it being replayed. At first I thought that Modric had done something and Eboue was playing peacemaker. Should have guessed, really.
-
What was that yellow for? I walked out the room, came back to see Eboue chatting to Modric and then Deano cracks the yellow out.
-
I was bricking it when he got taken off on that stretcher.

Our team is full of people that speak scouse, spanish & french. He won't need to speak english.

Nah, we have players with no legs or real speed at all or really quick players.. no inbetween. Villa have some really fast players but the likes of Barry can run when they need to.

lol, i read the article, wanted to know personal qualities, coaching philosophy etc To be fair I've just read the wiki article and it's generally spot on. The players loved him and many thought it was an unfair dismissal. Kinda reminds me of the Bobby Robson setup where finishing 5th wasn't good enough. I saw a fair bit of Atletico in the 06/07 season but not much after that.. but he got the team playing really nice stuff. Then again the players he had already at Atletico made that much easier, with the likes of Torres, Sergio Aguero & Maxi Rodriguez. If you saw the Atletico Liverpool Champions League ties earlier in the season you'll have an idea of the type of football to expect from him. He's not afraid to mix it up a bit as well. I remember that from the 06/07 season. He did like to tinker with the formation a bit and keep you guessing.

He's a good coach, did really well with Atletico.
-
Shame Newcastle can never settle on a decent coaching setup. Goes hand in hand with the manager turnover I guess.

Read the thread title mate.

Tell that to Owen. He got nothing for that run he went on at the end of last season and beginning of this season. With most of the weekends horse racing cancelled it is very hard to track down where Mick is, so I wont be able to tell him. Manchester probably.
-
He looked a real threat in the first half in spells and fizzled out a bit as the match went on. Good debut though. Did he get an assist from Taylors' goal?

Keegan was right. Shock horror.
-
I like the way that he's even complaining about the blood pressure in the thread title.

Cheeky little attempt by Duff.
-
It appears that Duff has been replaced with a footballer.
-
It was the team selection that blatantly caused this. That selection must be the football equivalent of self-harm.
-
In this case 11 players barely make a team.
-
A few years ago I would have vomited in disgust at that team. Nothing much has changed.

He passed on in the night?! What awful wording.
