  1. In his head, yes very much so, he had SO much talent, people were talking very highly of him when he came to Inter, but he is a "hot-head" if i can explain it so. He over-do situations and get lost. Lets put it like this, im not very sad he is leaving, for once im not gonna be worried that he plays for Inter. But maybe all he needs is some change, new club etc, and not a big club like Inter. Maybe he couldnt do with all the expectations a big club has. Spot on analysis. Always reminded me of Bramble in that way.
  2. Burdisso and Coloccini are best mates. They've even got tattoos saying so apparently.
  3. Curbs has no problem with being a pundit or a manager in the future. I doubt we'll ever see Keegan involved with football again.
  4. Would actually rather have him in the side than Butt. You're forgetting just how bad he was. You really are. Im not, he just has one advantage over Butt- he can run. Smith is much more reckless in the tackle than Butt and that says something. Butt at least has the odd attempt at goal and hits the target. Butt may be terrible, but Smith is infinitely worse. I was never that keen on Butt being the captain but the fact that Alan Smith once led the team out is a joke.

  6. Cahill annoys me. You can beat up a flag, nice one.
  7. Blatantly would feel gutted if we lost. Deny it all you want but you'd be crushed. I might pop down myself and put on a Swedish accent or something. Jumps for goalposts etc.
  8. Oh for gods sake, Bassong is better than this bloke, and he is only 22. Michael Owen is mostly annonymous when he doesn't score. He adds nothing to the squad that any other decent striker wouldn't. He is no more captain material than my 3 year old. Best player we have? Then how did our 20 year old youth developed player have the best chance against Blackburn? How did cross after cross come into the box against Hull for Owen to do f*** all with. He is over, spent, f***ed. Sell him to Citeh. Then spend the money on someone who's ego is not bigger than the shadow of St James'. Owen is the better player, but Bassong is playing better. Owen has one eye away and probably can't wait to be away. Remember how good he looked under Keegan when he was enjoying his football? Expect to see this at least for a short while next season for whichever team he ends up at.

    Black Power!

This is a valid point and one i take on board, however, my point is also to highlight how influential Beye and Martins are on our first team. But Rooney and Zambrotta would be influential to our team. The nationality or race of a player shouldn't come into their physical attributes. It's like saying only Brazilians play with flair, so lets get a few of them in. Why is the semi final and final of the Olympic 100m always contested by black athletes. Its because they are faster than white athletes. That is not racist but a FACT. American football, Basketball are heavily populated by black athletes, because of their power and pace. I think my point is completely valid! Not that many in the NHL I notice. You can go on about power and pace all you want but these attributes aren't exclusive to any race and you're making a very sweeping generalisation by saying that. Besides, pace and power are not the only contributing factors to a successful football team, or indeed any sports team for that matter. You've got a valid point by saying we need more steel in the side, but by saying we need it from black people specifically is just stupid and small minded. It is not small minded at all. We lack power and pace. Some black players have both of these attributes in abundance. I think you are naive and socially reclusive if you think otherwise If I'm naive and 'socially reclusive' for thinking that power and pace aren't exclusive to black athletes then so be it. The fact that you've dropped to name calling because hardly anyone agrees with your opinion says it all really. Bet we'd be f***ed when the ACN came about if you was the manager. Closing post: We lack power ( power = strength x speed) Make your own mind up! NO-ONE is denying this... but why are you so focused on the colour of their skin? It's a stereotype that should have no bearing on the point that you're trying to make! It's like saying that all Asians are good at maths and all Jews are lawyers with big noses.
  10. The infuriating thing is that none of them teams have actually beaten us this season. No, we save that up for the likes of Wigan and Fulham.

What a stupid point, just because athleticism is associated more with black people doesn't mean it's exclusive to them. Black power.. idiot.
  15. Looks like Damien Duff's love child. You know anything about him Kaiz?
  16. We really can't win can we? If we bid £10m for a player, people will criticise the board for blowing it on an inexperienced player when there were cheaper options. If we buy the cheaper options, people will criticise the board for taking the easy option and not spending big. What's it to be people? The loan signings were meant to be in the range of 500k each, so that's £1. M'Bia is rated at £10m and all three wouldn't have massive wages but I doubt they'd be hardly anything. I don't see how £11m is spending big in todays market. The entire thing is f***ing pathetic. It's no wonder the country is in the state it's in with maths like that. Heh. Well done, you hilarious bastard.

  18. In psychology one negative or destructive comment carries a weight of 10 positive comments. When we're booing our players over petty things like f***ing up corners, what do you think that's doing to them? When they show no fucking spine or respect for the badge week in week out bar a few, what do you think that's doing for us? I'm fucking sick of this talk as if footballers are these precious little flowers. They carry on with no worry of the problems that this country is under. Thousands of people are losing their jobs and these 'stars' are on an absolute wedge that is generated by US! These players may only have these wages due to the way the game has gone and are just a part of the way things are now, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't at least try to fucking EARN it.
  19. Although I like your sentiment I think that beyond going to the games and cheering the team on - something that we have ALWAYS done by the way, no matter what - the whole thing is out of our hands. The club is in the control of people we don't want to be in control and have no way to change this. We've just got to pray and hope and do what we've always done.
  20. It'll make no difference. Ashley couldn't/wouldn't sell the club, if we got Kinnear in he wouldn't have the ability to replace him with a more competent coach and he definitely will not get ride of Llambias or Wise. It'll achieve nothing.
