Too true, the more N'Zogbia plays well in midfield the less likely it is that he'll get bunked back to defensive duties. Jose played alright tonight, still a bit raw but definately alot more attacking. Can't help but think that Keegans been wrapping him in cottom wool a bit for whatever reason though.

I can't believe some people are throwing their dolls out of the pram over this match. We played well overrall and 2-3 quality signings will take us to the next level. Considering we went 75 minutes without a striker on the pitch we did fucking well.

Spurs rarely seem to play well against the North East. I reckon they'll do pretty good in Europe but be hit and miss in the league. I just don't get who they have as backup if some of their key players get injured, since they've sold the likes of Malbranque and Chimbonda.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Duff pushed up instead of playing behind Martins since we're at home. Keegan will want to go for it tomorrow since we've got Arsenal away next. As many points as possible in the first few fixtures.

I reckon that Milner will get a few league goals for us this season and Guthrie will get a few assists. If someone has the ability to improve a players attacking instinct, it's Keegan. Still not sure about Duff, he is looking loads fitter than since he first arrived and I wouldn't say he had a bad game at Old Trafford - was hardly prolific either. Interested to see how he plays tomorrow.

They've added a few decent players and a bit of pace with Cisse but I don't think they've really improved the centre of the defence - at least not to my knowledge. They've lost their best defender from last season, Evans, and aren't left with many good options. I'm looking forward to McShane marking Owen again.
