The chronicle don't like to take ownership of criticism, they're too scared of losing their access. Every question or statement is posed as fan view, the fans think this, the fans are asking that, the fans have had enough. At no time have they ever just said "This isn't good enough" by any metric, with any solid evidence, its veiled attacks and we're their shield of plausible denyability.

I see a number of journalists have stuck up for NUST today. The problem being they are all ignoring the patently obvious issue at hand. The club is at its most tumultuous point in living memory, a neglected child starved and given to an abusive nanny. If ever there was a time for a unified front of opposition to the current malaise at the club that would be now! But instead fans are getting emails about jigsaws?! I get that there's not much they can do, however they are the voice of the fans and they haven't given the fans a voice. I get they don't want to burn any bridges as the relationship with the club is important to them, but (a) there are ways of showing concern in a dignified and diplomatic manner and (b) if something doesn't change soon there won't be anything left to maintain a line of discourse with.

Why is it anyone with any kind of standing within the fan base is always trying to scupper action for change? We've seen Wraith do it, Martin do it, Alex and NUST. Change won't happen if every time something is suggested people throw their hands up and say it'll never work, well it won't if you don't try it!! Every time they do this is just gives those on the fence the ammo they need for confirmation bias. We're literally the worst set of fans for unity, or lack there of, it's infuriating.

It's a high 9 with Bruce, if you can't pick up points against the teams around you then the odd spawny win against the top teams is mathematically useless. It's only early in the season but the early damage that's been done cannot be underestimated.

We'll get to December without a win under this useless sack and he'll still be here getting lauded by his media chums.

I think the important work is now done, this goes through and the PL shake hands under the table, there's no way the whole process goes public. The result of this has to be the linchpin that makes the decision, if CAT decide against jurisdiction then the PL will never back down.

Aye but shows evidence of a two tier system, especially if, for example, it was proven that Man City has a shadow director that has been discounted not only on the original ODT but every year since, when it clearly states in their own rules (Something reiterated several hundred times by their QC) that should such a director refuse to be subjected to the ODT then they will be disqualified from the league.

Not to mention that we clearly have an entity ourselves able to make decisions that's not listed in SJHL

Based on no legal background whatsoever it seems to me that the PL arguing that the case is being heard in its own arbitration case following its own rules doesn't discount the fact that its own rules and it's liberal use of them in this scenario are in question for being anti-competitive. Also the argument that a legal entity is bound by their rules (horizontally) because another legal entity connected to it is, regardless of the fact the given legal entity is not directly contractually bound sounds frivolous to me, they call it a strawman, I call it an oversight that has the potential to bite them on the ass.
