Gone round in so many circles he's stuck up his own arse
-
Desperate to prove a point based on no contractually bound information.
-
He's trying to argue that they have to be a controlling party even though they are not a named director, feels like a feeble argument, by rule of law surely it should only be counted as a controlling party if it is written into the contract.
-
I feel like he's flapping at the moment. He's nervous about the actual standing of SJHL.
-
So SJHL is not a named director but he's making as many arguments as possible to say that they have to be.
-
He's basically saying every holding in the company is classed as a controlling party and thus bound by the PL rules.
-
It's tantamount to going into a heavyweight championship fight with the oppositions belt on the line and we're just windmilling with our eyes shut.
-
I don't even think it will need a top manager either, pretty much anyone with an ounce of knowledge of setting up a team and tactical wherewithal will give the team the desired bounce. Bruce has stunk the place out, someone just needs to open a window.
-
Couldn't score in a brothel our lot, completely impotent without Wilson
-
Against a team that could finish both us and Leeds would have been battered by 4 or 5 easily.

My gf mum worked in a care home with dementia patients, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I never had time for Kinnear the manager and the time he represents at NUFC is better left as a fleeting memory. Having said that, it's no way to see out your remaining years and I do feel for him and his family and I hope they get all the help they need.

I think it's fair to say they aren't "desperate" for it and aren't sat in thr wings with baited breath as there's plenty of other deals on the table of more importance, diversity of portfolio and all that. However, it's also perfectly plausible that if the deal gets the green light by some miracle then they'll be back at the table as soon as they can. It's not over until all avenues are explored, it's not worth getting tied up over, best left to play out, but is definitely unfair on the club and fans as we're all left in limbo like a piece of driftwood clogging up the PL.

I totally agree, however, devils advocate, is the attachment to the CAT case that they bought their season ticket in the belief that the takeover was imminent and there were "no red flags"?
-
I think Sky did a sterling job of muting the unwanted crowd noises
-
Bruce doesn't deserve him
-
Last seasons Leeds win that 4 or 5-1 easy.
-
Noticed that, nee wonder the players don't know their arse from their elbow.
-
Literally no resistance to Bruce tonight, saw a few paper plans lying behind the Leeds goal, that was a bit of a wet fart.
-
What a schoolboy game of football at least its somewhat entertaining. Leeds should feel hard done by with the amount of chances we've gifted them. Bruce does not deserve ASM. Second half we will run out of gas early and it'll be over, but "muh positives"
-
We're scoring too much didn't you know? We need to defend dammit!!!
-
That reads like a suicide note that team selection utterly useless.
-
The whole docudrama is simmering away nicely in the lead up to this, unless we come out the gates fast the crowd will turn sour quickly. If I was one of the players right I certainly wouldn't be busting a gut for the guy who throws me under the bus for his own mistakes, I smell blood.
-
Talking about finding a balance, bragging about goals scored and bemoaning goals conceded, didn't he say at the beginning of the season that it was Jones' responsibility for attack and his for the defence? So basically he's saying Jones is doing his job right but Bruce isn't, classic.

When you've got Ashley, Penfold and Bruce running your club you know theres nothing left but fond memories.

Euro '96 was my introduction to football, so I've seen most of the best years of NUFC, really pity those that never got to support Keegan or SBR boys. However sometimes I do kind of wish I hadn't have flown to those heights either as the fall has been so much further!
