I have the games on in the background while i potter around and do other things, either at work or at home. I don't think I could stomach watching a full 90 minutes of Bruce ball. I've missed quite a few goals this season due to not watching it all. It's going to take this takeover to get me back into it, I hope the late 90s early 00s passion comes back, it may take me some time. I don't think I could ever truly let go, I say I will but it's NUFC, you can't get that out of your blood, but this is the least interest I've ever had.

Shelvey is always pretty good in possession, he does "look after the ball" well in Bruce-speak, his problem is he has absolutely no engine and is virtually useless when we haven't got the ball. It's like playing with 10 men. Luxury players need to be making far more impact in a game. He didn't provide one chance today despite being generally tidy and stylish on the ball. This was one of his better games I thought, but yeah he was pretty much gone after the first half. Rafa would have subbed him on the hour but of course that would be too tactical for wor Steve. He's just frustrating because he's the only one in the middle of the park with any vision and ability to move the play forward whilst everyone else turns backs to goal and sends it back to Darlow. But yeah, no engine and less than useless off the ball. He should have been subbed but options to replace him are probably even worse and definitely less creative.

Hayden is the last one in the firing line when you've got the likes of Shelvey blowing out his arse like a 60 year old on 40 a day after 10 minutes. CM needs a complete do-over and sack the rubbish but Hayden is undoubtedly the last to go.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, entitled to hope for the best and imagine what it will be like once we're run like a real club with money to spend. People are also entitled to feel embittered by what's happened in the past and the negativity they feel due to how we've been treated in the past and resigned to more of the same. Can we just draw the line at expecting other people to accept your thought process as absolute truth? This was Pardews modus operandi, get the excuses in early so he can excuse himself after the game, but all it does is eat away at the players confidence and it's not fooling the supporters about how inept you are. That's the best thing about having Rafa, his winning mentality, he went into every game instilling the belief we could win it, even the games we were up against it, he knew he could out-think other managers and it breeds confidence throughout the club.

McClaren had the worst results with one of the best teams, he was a passive beta male too. Pardew gave me levels of hatred I never knew I had, slimy, greaseball of a man but got some results from time to time so not the worst. Bruce is the luckiest bad manager we've ever had, hasn't a clue how to set up a team or prepare for games on a team by team basis. Carved has to be the pick of the bunch, was never a manager, should never have been manager and was absolutely hopeless despite declaring he was the best coach in the league. This. Fair play all round. Miggy and Murphy were outstanding. Wilson continues to be a beautiful man. Defence were solid. Only criticism I have is those subs at the end, really gave Everton the momentum to go forward with no pace left on the pitch.

Why does it matter how anyone else is taking this information, I'm not sure why it has to be this big thing? Don't believe it if you don't want to but leave other people to believe what they want, it's not hurting anyone.

There does seem to be too much going on in the background for there not to be some truth in this, I can absolutely empathise with people thinking nothing but the worst, NUFC doesn't have nice things. I wouldn't say I have any confidence but I wouldn't say I feel negative towards it either, I'm keeping an open mind on the situation until we hear definitive news either way, anything else will just drive you mad. This limbo state isn't fair on anyone though, least of all supporters.

If that is true it really puts the efforts on the pitch into perspective, the most costly NUFC team in history and we can't string 2 passes together, form any kind of resemblance of a formation or indeed assert any tactical authority on the pitch. How anyone can defend this fraud is beyond me, I don't for one second believe this nice guy routine, he's a suck up to those he needs to keep onside, a real definition of a snake. A nice guy would admit he was out of his depth and take the plunge, not lie incessantly and lay blame everywhere but his own door.

Good point this to be fair, once they've only got the actual game to watch and not the full event of a day out and they're having to watch the football in cold light of day sans beer goggles they're probably realising how horrific this club has become. If Ashley is still here when crowds are allowed back in it'll be interesting to see how far our support has fallen.
