  1. Turned off before post match, was an entertaining match to watch. Bruce bound to be thumping his chest, not a chance I'm listening to that.
  2. Our front line counter is ridiculously fast! City can't cope when we finally break out.
  3. I feared the worst when Joelinton stepped up for that penalty, why can't he hit a moving ball like that?? Been a weird half of football, we've been totally dominated but when we've got up the pitch we've done it quick and been an absolute nuisance.
  4. Worth noting Pardew was a lot more polarizing too, he had his cheerleaders in the fan base, much more than the minority that actually want to give Brewcie his "dues". I think they're pretty much neck and neck, if it wasn't for the takeover looming in the background I'm sure a lot would want to see him relegated to spite him and Ashley just as a lot of us did with Pardew, willing us to lose was not a nice place to be.
  5. 9 year old killed by freak lightening whilst training at spirit of youth football in Blackpool today, horrific and saddening.
  6. Yeah I got half way through and vomited my way to a dry heave so gave up. Verbal Brucie falacio.
  7. I haven't sat and watched Fulham all season, if tonight is anything to go by, in a must win game, I don't know what any of us were worried about. I've never seen such an impotent squad in my life, defence like sieve too. Horrific game to watch.
  8. It would still take them 2 or 3 sittings.
  9. Just been reading about this "Nice guy" Steve Bruce huh?
  10. Switched it off at 1-0 I'm not sorry, can only hope this is the dying throws of the last known living dinosaur.
  11. More entertaining watching these entitled manure fans
  12. Not even a bottom half team, the reserves of a bottom half team
  13. We are shocking and don't deserve anything but Arsenal attempting to win gold at Olympic diving every time they smell a player near them is infuriating, even more so as the ref is whistle happy.
  14. ASM with 3 defenders in front of him and still gets the cross off, we don't deserve him.
  15. ASM it really is him or nothing isn't it?
  16. This is going to be the whipping we've been waiting for isn't it?
  17. I try to stay away from social media all together these days, I follow the people I want to hear from on Twitter and limit my time on there, its an absolute freak show if you spend too long there. FB I don't even bother with anymore, I feel like you need a 2 digit IQ to enjoy it these days! MSM I avoid at all costs.
  18. If he's gonna pass it back every time might as well put him closer to the keeper
  19. Surely shutting the doors on powerful investment now just plays into the Super League plans in keeping the cream at the top and preventing any more money filtering down? This would only rubber stamp the monopoly and prevent any playing field being levelled, surely the antithesis of what they're trying to do. If we were to be made an example while the big fix get what they want it would just make an even bigger farce of the whole situation.
  20. I think we'll somehow score first then shit the bed and not touch the ball for the rest of the first 45 minutes,go in at half time 3-1 down, make some half hearted changes at 60 minutes and fizzle out at 4-1
  21. Rattling through the posts tonight after a long day at work, just my 2p worth: The PIF/MBS separation is a smoke screen, just something something PL can hang their hat on to prevent a resurgent NUFC and a 7th team in the offing, the "Big 6" clearly with an ulterior motive for their super league plans and keeping the gravy train running; they don't want those riches they're heavily leveraged against watered down. BeIn clearly hated SA and were stinging from BeOutQ and both these players had a huge sway with the PL. With tensions easing with BeIn and the 6 blowing their load on a failed European league, shitting all over that PL good will I think their position has to have softened, it can't be an instant approval though PL need to save face. Secondly I see a lot of people on Twitter panicking about PIF going for one of the 6 now as owners had their collars felt and clubs might become available, I tend to agree with @HTT IIon this one, this was never just about buying a football club, this is a much bigger picture, the ability to rejuvenate a region, to build a legacy post fossil fuel. Even if it wasn't, why would they want to invest in a club for £3b that's leveraged up to its eyeballs in debt based on future revenue during a time of uncertainty? £305m all-in gets you a club in the same league with no debt, albeit with some serious work needed on its facilities. You can build a team and a club to be proud of at a fraction of the price of one of the so called elites.
