As a fan all we should be bothered about is can they score goals? Yes. Will they be committed to the club? Both seem eager enough, another yes. I think those two options would see us through a grueling season without having to worry about the IKEA nonce.

I think modern football has got us all too tied up in transfer fees and wages and financial structures, PSR and the like, not a bean counter and I don't care, that's someone else's job to worry about, I just want someone through the door that's going to turn these losses and draws into draws and wins. JSL looks like he'll do a good job at that with the service we can provide for him and that's all that matters to me right now.

By far our best defender when fit, yes he's had a poor run with some pretty awful injuries but I wouldn't sell, not a chance.

Would be the best schadenfreude we could ever hope for if the Swedish Rat went to the dippers and we won the league without him.

It's bad business which ever way you cut it selling Isak in this window and especially selling him to the North West respectful club. I'd rather he stayed and we level the PSR boat next summer, even if we get both JSL and Wissa in this week. Give Isak limited minutes until he proves himself and if he doesn't then he scuppers any dreams of a big money move to an elite club.

I was going to comment on them being in the Conference League but it seems that because there's no schedule clash they don't get the benefit of a clash free draw like Europa and CL teams, you learn something new every day

I'm getting tired of coming on here every day hitting F5 waiting for something concrete in here and in the Transfers thread, it's tiresome and anxiety inducing, we just need some kind of respite from it all, either this skinny little nonce putting his big boy pants on or a striker through the door to take the pressure off and not have us care as much until after the window closes.

I don't care who is on who's side or how it makes us look, it's weak cuck energy to let him go to the dippers now at any price, he either plays for us again or rots in the reserves, those are his two only choices.

There's a lot of talk about the ball only being in play for 40.8% of the game, even hairy hands has been chipping in about rule changes, but it all feels very angled at us rather than Liverpool's incessant fouling and awful passing out of play every 5 minutes, we were the ones trying to keep the ball moving while Liverpool slowed the game down and time wasted at every opportunity while they tried to figure out how to contain us.

I think emotionally, like the rest of us Howe probably feels betrayed and doesn't want to work with Isak again, having said that he's fully aware of Isaks ability and the impossible task of replacing him and he'll know he can get a song out of him again once this is rectified and the window is shut and he will use him for the benefit of the team. Heart wants him out, head knows he's still important to his ambitions for the club this season.

I've seen a lot of Liverpool fans saying they didn't deserve anything and we were the better team, but it's easier to be magnanimous in victory. They showed their true colours with the Isak fiasco, I have zero doubt in my mind if we had got the late winner last night they'd all be kicking off today.

Genital Wirtz looks so far out his comfort zone, there's time yet for him to get used to the league but the first two games he's looked way off it and very lightweight, could be a very expensive flop.

He's so unbelievably good in those 1v1 situations, always have faith he comes away with the ball and he's so press resistant too, not scared to take on 2 or 3 players with his close footwork, I hope we resist any attempts from the legacy teams trying to prise him away.

It cannot be overstated how much damage he's done to the start of this campaign, he's almost definitely cost us 3 points and there's an argument that it could be 5 lost without him. Add to that the loss of 4 players, one of which probably wouldn't have been sent off if he was playing in his corrclect position and possibly 3 injuries that could have been avoided with less pressure on the rest of the team. Even when he comes back and starts scoring again, this will live long in the memory and ita going to take a lot of work to win supporters back.

One of the best midfielders in the league, we have to have him back but not at the risk of further injury. Someone needs to rake that skinny freak Ekitike for this.

Honestly mate, some of the takes on this forum are bad enough, screw going to the wider footballing community for sensible analysis of games. One of the many reasons I've removed all social media accounts from my phone.

Liverpool are cooked either way, early days but it certainly looks like their investment this summer has been pretty poor except Ekitike. £500m spend and I'd say they're a worse team than last season.
