  1. Think there's going to a few goals in that one, BTTS seems a decent bet.
  2. Didn't someone offer them money to have The Bobby Robson Foundation on one of the Sports Direct advertisements and just get fobbed off?
  3. Keeper should be taking them really. Keepers that can't kick are a pet hate of mine.
  4. Uh oh you'll be like the blue version of Geremi if you're only giving people one chance to get things right, you'll be taking everything. The last time I played for a team properly (about 6 years ago) I used to take more or less every throw on both sides of the pitch, unless somebody wanted to play it quickly. I also took all free kicks from deep, most where a direct shot was possible and was penalty taker. Depending on the keeper I used to do the goal kicks as well. I wouldn't take the free-kicks that were being swung in or corners due to my usefulness in the air. Was it your ball or something? I can remember you having a long throw.
  5. Tempted with an Inter and Villarreal double tonight.

  7. Fifth foul throw - A hour talking football with Brett?
  8. Inter a decent bet for tonight?
  9. Yeah they do have a habit of surrendering in the end.
  10. Montpellier have a habit of asking a much higher fee for players than what clubs actually end up paying, it happened with Mbiwa and Giroud, I don't believe we have any real intent on signing Cabella though.
  11. No Champions League winners medals to show off though.
  12. What a thoroughly horrible footballer he is.
  13. The outstanding referee could obviously see a player who had been targeted for most of the match.
  14. So will Nixon be producing even more flicks, tricks and awful penalties (I know I can't say owt after the St James' miss) than usual now that he's an international superstar? I for one hope so.
  15. For me a squad player is someone who isn't a regular starter but with injuries or loss of form within the first team is able to perform to a good standard. It's a laughing stock that we even have to consider him as having a place on the bench, if you saw him playing for any of the teams in an around us in the league you would have to wonder how a player with zero pace, horrendous technique and a general liability was playing in this league. He's here because he's a good lad in the dressing room, a local lad and due to zero serious investment in the 'squad'.
  16. Marveaux and Shola are definitely good enough to be in a 'squad' of a team that will finish from 7-12 in the league. Elliot might be as well, how good are reserve keepers normally? What has Shola shown you over the past few years that would indicate he has anything above Championship level ability on a regular basis?
  17. Lacina Traore who's just signed for Monaco will join West Ham on loan till end of the season. Sam will love that height.
  18. Look at someone like Andros Townsend, the lad has been on loan about 10 times over the space of 3 or 4 seasons before making an impact with Spurs this year, just because a player isn't showing an immediate ability to be a first team regular at the age of 18 doesn't mean they aren't worth persevering with. I wouldn't say that when Campbell has had first team opportunities that he's looked totally out of place, he's not ready yet but what 18 year olds are? Just because he's not showing Wayne Rooney type ability at this age doesn't mean we should discard him as a waste of time, money and coaching resources.
  19. Aye lets not bother with an academy it's not like we've produced any decent footballers in the last 30 years or so.
  20. Probably the best league for him in terms of getting games and kicked up a height.

  22. Isn't he really s***? Yeah he's been on the decline for a while.
