  1. They've spent a fortune as well haven't they on their youth development? Which so far has yielded them fuck all. Yup. To be honest, I'm struggling to think of any players brought through by Chelsea's youth system that have even gone on to become a regular, decent, player elsewhere. Was Scott Sinclair a Chelsea youth product?
  2. As people have said, one of the main problems with Chelsea has been the reluctance to blood young talent. They are certainly not, nor have been, an 'evolving' side. OCK's right - they've rested heavily upon the likes of Cole, Terry, Lampard, Essien, Drogba for a long time without any foresight as to how a transition can be made. Shit is hitting the fan in many respects - in so far as even the players brought in by AVB are not particularly doing well. That said, they're still 5th with the same points as Arsenal. Not bad considering really - although I do accept that for most Chelsea fans this isn't good enough given their success in recent years.
  3. I've been thinking this every time I see him play. Always mouthing off at officials - I dare say it's the 'us against them' mentality of the Dippers rubbing off on the twat.
  4. Love how MJ's Spurs bollocks on the previous page has been ignored. Good stuff.

    St James' Park

Great work that. That is brilliant.
  6. Absolutely. Can't understand any manager of a team in contention for Europe saying 'its a game we could afford to lose'. Surely you don't give your opponents that much respect. We ought to be competing, even if we've our two first choice CMs out. His comments post-match do nothing to boost the confidence of the players that played on Saturday either.
  7. Warnock or Bruce? Either that or they'll go for an up and coming manager - perhaps Carl Robinson. Given that they'll need someone with a bit of grit and bottle for the relegation battle, it'll be the former I reckon.
  8. Agreed. Zambia is a wonderful country, having spent some time there in the summer. Friendly people too - will be great for them and for Zambian football in general.

    Alan Pardew

Did you forget the number of shots Blackburn had? Or the way we were outplayed by Villa for the first 45? Results don't tell the whole story. I like Pardew, and he's done a cracking job so far, but do me a favour - anyone could see we were not playing well for large parts of the games we won. We were just fortunate that Blackburn and Villa were couldn't finish for shit.

    Alan Pardew

Fucking joke today. It's been coming though. Signs were obvious since Brighton. Just sincerely hope this isn't the beginning of a slide. As others have said though, all of the top sides bar City have had a shafting, our turn today.
  12. I miss Stevie T. Thank fuck Tiote and Cabaye are back and thank fuck we're playing Wolves - I dare say I'll be eating those words in a couple of weeks.
  13. As Dave says, writing has been on the wall for a long time - Brighton, Blackburn, Villa and now this. Whilst we've not had our best Midfield available, Pardew has done sweet fuck all to try and address the shit that's been served up.
  14. Very peculiar comments from him really. It's not even as though he set us up to have a go.
  15. Pardew's an absolute fucking twat for setting up like that. Fuck right off. Travelling fans ought to be refunded for this. Shambolic.
  16. I've feared something like this happening for a while tbh. Signs have been there for the past 2 games.
  17. Jesus, we miss Cheick and Cabaye. But for shite finishing this could have been the story at Blackburn or at home to Villa. Fuck the tax dodging wobbly faced cunt!
  18. Just thinking the same. Would be interesting to know what effect Steve Clarke has in the dressing room/behind the scenes. King Kunty just behaves like some old fucker that's well and truly lost his marbles.
  19. Sums up my feelings in a nutshell. Hate it when a big tournament comes up and, as you say, the whole circus comes to town - beer swilling morons, tacky flags on cars, delusions of grandeur, 'three lions on a shirt', etc. The England team alos lost its respectability long ago for me.
  20. Absolutely. I couldn't stand the Eng-er-land bandwagon as it was, what with the Terry-Bridge farce, the World Cup, the balls-up the FA made in regards to renewing Capello's contract, now is a time to bring back a certain respectability to the national side. Hughton or Hodgson for me, though twitchy cunt is undoubtedly going to get it. His media chums are having a fucking field day today. The twitchy cunt.
