Why would he fly from Rome? Quit Roma this summer. Being Portuges I think he'd rather fly from Portugal.

Either Emery or Fonseca would do it for me. Would be nice with a manager who actually has an idea of how he wants his team to play.

I think the only reason Bruce is still here is that we have a problem getting a new manager in. Think the ones who's at the top of our list simply don't want to come here at this point. Read somewhere(can't remember where) that Jones didn't want to be caretaker either. If it's true or not, I don't know. Wouldn't be suprised if Bruce is still here for our next game.

No need for an alternative plan if he doesn't even have a plan in the first place.

Don't think we're gonna get a world class manager at this point. Our squad is too poor, bad position in the league and awfull training facilities. Important to get a manager in now who can organise the team. Someone who is tactically good. A manager who can save us this season and start building a team for the future. I mean just look at Frank at Brentford, Potter at Brighton, what Howe did at Bournemouth(before relegation) and so on... Doesn't have to be a big name to get us to the next level. Must be many like thoose out there. Maybe someone like Kasper Hjulmand, who is doing great with the danish national team? They are well organised and play attacking football.

Isak would refuse to go back to Dortmund. Didn't like it there at all. Btw, he scored another one and was fouled to get a penalty yesterday for Sweden against Greece.

If that was a beast move, I wonder what to call what he did 1-2 minutes before that? Was like when you get the star in Super Mario! Has always been a real talent. Have followed him sience he broke in to the first team for my local swedish team, AIK, when he was 16 or 17. His body looks weak but he is strong and has good feet and a really good mindset. And he is still progressing, only 21 years old now. Edit: Has just turned 22, still young though.

My thoughts on this too! 1. First thing is to appoint a sporting director. 2. He will have a say in what manager to bring in. 3. They will both hava a say in what players we will sign. On top of this the transfer window is closed for more than 2 months, so can't bring any players in now anyway. ...but of course it's fun to speculate. ?

I think Luis Campos as a sporting director and Pochettino as manager would be great.

I think we will build the club up step by step. That goes for managers too. Don't think we will get the world class managers just yet. Think that we could do well with a manager like Howe, Potter or someone like that for 2-3 years to take us to the next step and then go for the next level manager. By that time we will also rebuild the training ground, St James Park and the academy. Point is it will take some time but we will improve all along. There are so many things that needs improvement at the same time.

Really hop Bruce is gone by monday!

Hoping some of the young players could have a role to play in the future too. With good players around them and a manager who can actually manage them to become better players. Thinking of Kell Watts, Elliott Anderson, Joe White for example.

Maehle and Spinazzola would be very exiting if you ask me! Would also like to see us go for Bellingham.

Ironic that the first game under the new owners will be against Tottenham. ?
