  1. Think it's adidas numbers. Looks like the numbers we had 96/97 I think. ???
  2. Yedlin's. Moving to 2 i reckon, hate having centre halfs as number 2. Should be a right back every time. I totaly agree with you there. Give no 2 to Yedlin, no 5 to Clark and whatever number to Hanley if he doesn't leave (which I think he will).

Is this deal done or what is happening? No confirmation yet?

    Adam Armstrong

He's the same height as Surgeo Aguero. He's not too small but to be that small and succeed you need to very strong in other physical attributes and I'm not certain he's got them to be successful in the Premier League. Aguero has excellent lower body strength. Thats what I mean with small. Not that he's too short but he must be stronger (like Aguero). Messi is also short and not too strong but has exceptionell skills and balance so think he could make it in the Premier League as well.?
  5. Neither played in a number yesterday. On holiday for a week and already lost track of what day it is. ????

Think his biggest problem is that he's too small for a striker imo. Just like Adam Campbell was. It's ok when you play at youth level or even in league one but in the Premier League or Championship I think you must be strong to cope with the defenders. Hope he will prove me wrong. Theres still time for him and I think it's the right move to loan him to a championship club as long as he get games.
  7. Anyone know what numbers De Jong and Diame played in yesterday?
  8. Really hope Aarons could stay fit and get his big break this season.
  9. I think we should look foor players in the spanish league as thoose players are alot cheaper than the brittish. With Rafas knowledge and conections in spain I hope we could find some bargains and up and coming players there. Than we should go after brittish players next summer when we have more TV-money avalible.
  10. Why not? Don't think any of the top 6 clubs want him. Not sure Koeman gonna build his team around him. Here he could be a star and I think he is just the type of player Rafa likes. At least worth a try. Make him an offer he can't refuse. Think big and make a statement!?
  11. I really think we should make a move for Ross Barkley and play him as no.10. Didn't have the best season but still only 23 and 1 year left on contract. Think Rafa could get the best out of him and he could be a big star for many years to come. Think we can get him for around £25M.
  12. We've needed one for about 15 years Last time we had a really great DM was David Batty imo.
  13. Riktigt snygg! (Really nice) Kom igen Gnaget!
  14. In a way I think its good to have the most difficult games in the begining. To have them over with so to say. As long as we dont get hammered and loose all confident of course.
  15. What I mean is that if we should loan a player (I realise it's a good option moneywise to loan) I think we must have the option to buy. Say that Abraham becomes a big success and than we dont have a chance of signing him next season. Then we are back to squere one needing to find a new striker next season. That's fine if you can find the right player on loan with an option to buy. But it seems that player isn't available in Rafa's view and the most important thing is the get the player he thinks is right not the one with an option to buy. I don't really like the idea of loans without an option to buy either. But sometimes its necessary and I wouldn't say it puts us back to square one. Because assuming Rafa gets most of his permanent signings right we'll need far less incomings next season, which means we can focus more time and money on a permanent striker. Just because you don't agree an option to buy doesn't mean that a player won't be available following a loan, especially from a club like Chelsea. If anything a good season with us, even without an option to buy, could put us in pole position for a permanent transfer. See Lukaku, Romelu. There must be so many strikers out there who would like to join us with Rafa in charge. But I'd like Abraham on loan to be a backup/second striker with another good striker coming here on a permanent deal. And thats what I think is Rafas plan aswell. In Rafa we trust!
  16. Fixture list will be out on wednesday (june 14). I think sky will announce their first games at the same day and a few more in maybe 1 or 2 weeks.

  18. Like the Arsenal 3rd kit. But think the pink bits should be red instead. Red would look better and it is their colour. Think away and 3rd kits should have a touch of the original clubcolours.
  19. Dont understand why we should loan this guy if we dont get an option to buy him at the end of the loan. Abraham is a big talent but untested at this level and doesn't seem to want to be here long term. Would like us to sign a good striker to build the team around. One who is interested to stay for the long term. Someone like Batshuayi or Bony if they are up to it.
