  1. its either gonna be a shock win, or a dismal performance and a 3-0 defeat where where our passing is abysmal straight from the off. Can't see a draw at all. Someone will seize maximum points [/daft tabloid terminology]
  2. Spence? No idea. I only like him because he used to post up all of the gossip out of the Sunday Sun before it went online and he doesn't even do that now, complete waste of oxygen.
  3. Milner actually manages to skip past his man then puts in an absolutely dismal attempt on goal
  4. Should've told him he needs deodrant, he stinks! I know this having had the unfortunate experience of sitting next to him at the Coventry cup game a few years back.
  5. bloke I work with said he came into town with his missus to do Christmas shopping on Monday and saw them being filmed. Even though he's from the midlands, and supports Arsenal, he said he couldn't find it in himself to laugh at us as he was too embarrassed. On a sidenote, the Geordie Dancer works, or did work, at Sainsburys at the Arnison Centre.
  6. yup. If it does continue to happen, my level of concern will increase, but at the minute I'm only on a 3.
  7. it might. On the other hand, it might have finally got through to Kinnear's thick skull that we shouldn't allow this to happen.
  8. a home game against stoke is a good measure of our situation, the fact we couldnt win it . makes relegation more likely. Derby at home last season? Worst team in PL history and we didn't go down. You can't make assumptions based on that one fact. i am basing it on a number of factors. main ones being, the club is a shambles, players lack confidence, manager is clueless, squad is weak, inability to win,.... again same as last season. The GG has a point, had we been able to swap Guthrie for another centre mid, it wouldn't have gone as pear-shaped in the 2nd half. Kinnear was too inept to realise Colo could go centre mid, but when Barton and Butt are fit, it shouldn't happen again.

  10. nah, I dont think so. I would still be feeling on edge even if we got the three points. I don't disagree, I think we would, just saying that some on here would jump to that assumption.
  11. this forum is so kneejerky imo. Had we got 3 points on Sat, many on here would be pointing out how we were only a few points off mid-table. We didn't get those 3 points, so now all the talk goes to relegation.
  12. Look North lunchtime news - Peter Reid has been talking up a return apparantly... mackems.gif
  13. Not as bad as Ouston, Pelton and even Urpeth nowadays man. they would have fitted right in at The Crown (The Crown is the rough as fuck one with boarded up windows isn't it?)
  14. small piece done on them on yesterday's football focus. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7768679.stm
  15. this, pretty much. I can see us drawing the next 3 games.
  16. really? We're a Jekyll and Hyde team, 2 draws away from home (albeit one being against the smogs) then that shite today. I wouldn't rule us out getting something surprising in one of them.
  17. Its obviously up to us to dig deep and try and drag ourselves out of this sorry mess, even with the divvy in charge, but having a spy around, its not like we should fall too far behind when... Blackburn are soon to play Wigan, Stoke, mackems, Citeh Stoke are soon to play Fulham, Blackburn, Manyoo, West Ham the team from the land that soap forgot are soon to play West Brom, Hull, Blackburn, Everton. And we're soon to play Pompey, Spuds, Wigan Liverpool. At best, I'd like to see us come away with 5 points from those 4 games, but my main point is that for certain quarters on here that are talking about relegation, the season is far from over, teams at the bottom are still playing each other, and its not like we're going to be left adrift just yet, only WBA seem to be in that position thus far. Yes, Kinnear is getting on everyone's tits, but thats another 2 goals we've scored today. Thats not relegation shite. KEEP THE FUCKING FAITH!!!
  18. god. It's so tempting to get a str88888 like a banana top for christmas...
  19. desperate for some bait in Isabella's food court like?
  20. seeing it again, fucking pissed off with the decision for that free kick.
  21. a bit of positive "spin"... looking at the fixtures for teams around us, they all have a mix of winnable games, and some they should be nailed on to lose. Eg. Although sunderland have WBA, spuds and west ham have manyoo and chelsea, so its not like we'll fall too far behind.
