Mike Ashley hates the mackems, Mike Ashley hates the mackems, Mike Ashley hates the mackems, he thinks they're fucking scum (to the tune of what shall we do with the drunken sailor) or replace "he thinks they're fucking scum" with "and says fuck off niall quinn"

something Amdy Faye lacked completely. Ramage was cack, but I think he did to the best of his cack ability. Faye couldn't even muster that. -
How comes it's got blue on it. The propa one was black and grey. EDIT; This one was a couple of years ago. I'm talking about the one in the Bobby era, that we wore at Southampton away when we beat them 3-0. Thast the one, there is no blue on that kit bar the badge. the lighter bits are grey. Find a pic with a footballer wearing it. I tried and thats all i could find http://www.nufcpics.com/pictures_131611/Goal-146-celebration-image.html

we need to get that top of the pops countdown music on. "Bum bum bum bum bum, bum bum bummmmmm" In at number 5, our friend from Nigeria, Celestine Babayaro. At number 4, a new entry, Alan Smith At number 3, its that dodgy centre-half, Jean-Alain Boumsong. Still at number 2, its fatty Patty, Matthew Pattison. And still, and number one, moving from Portsmouth, the worst Newcastle player in the last 5 years is..... AMDY FAYE!!! -

My mate wants to get tshirts printed with those iron-on things. Black shirts with just "Any Any Any O'Brien" written on the front. Dunno whether to bother... -

I'm not accusing anyone of being a charver, I'm just saying I think the bright blue has charver appeal.

The last away shirt I bought was actually the 95-96 legendary maroon and blue hoops one, off Ebay for £7, as the one I have is only a medium boys. Much cheaper, nice and retro. I can't help but feel that Adidas did some smart marketing with our current away top. It oozes charver appeal to me.

Don't forget Geremi. done!

"we don't want cast offs from the top 4. We've already got Smith, Butt and Duff. And we had Parker". There. Someone said it. Surprised it took that long!

Away kits have been primarily driven by commercial exploitation rather than on-field footballing reasons for nearly 20 years now, and third kits exclusively so. Way back in the 70's and early 80's you'd rarely see a team in their away kit unless there was a clash with their opponents home kit, but then they figured out that away kits were a potentially source of lucrative revenue and now teams regularly turn out in away kits even if there's no clash at all. As for third kits, there's absolutely no footballing reason to have them whatsoever. It's virtually impossible to have a kit clash with both home and (properly designed) away kits. How many kits have Spurs got this year? 4 Yup. It's bad enough bringing out a third, or "European" kit like we have done, but the worst example is when Man Utd and Liverpool brought out "European home kits", that are still red for fucks sake, just with different lines on them. I've never bought a third shirt and havn't had an away shirt for about 5 years now.

Because Amdy Faye is a f****** disgrace of a player and Andy O'Brien scored against the mackems and played in the Champions League. Faye was a regular for a half season. Then Parker was signed. Nowhere near as bad as some of you are pretending. Not even close. I'm sorry, but he was hopelessly s***. Utterly f****** useless. I wouldn't normally knock 'a tryer', but he was so bad I can't help myself. I completely agree. As I said in the worst player thread, he couldn't pass or tackle - the 2 things a defensive midfielder is supposed to do. How did this end up in this thread? not a clue tbh! -

The events that led to Boumsong's dismissal vs. Liverpool at SJP summed him up. I don't even think Bramble could mis-kick, let the opposing player in on goal, then haul him back in the box. Then be a cunt by holding his head in his hands, and taking fucking ages to walk off the pitch, going all the way around the goal, possibly in an attempt to delay proceedings and put the Liverpool penalty taker (forgot who it was) off. I just wanted him to fuck off down the tunnel and never step on the pitch again after that. -

Faye and Boumsong. Boumsong was dodgy from the beginning, and once his confidence had gone, was was one of the shittest players I've ever seen. And he cost us £8m when he went to Rangers on a free months earlier - f****** stupid move by Shepherd. At least Bramble had the odd game where he was solid, and he got the goal vs. Chelsea to get us into the Intertwobob. I can't recall Boumsong ever having a good game. And I metaphorically tore my hair out watching Amdy Faye. Couldn't pass, and couldn't tackle, which as a defensive midfielder, is pretty much all he was asked to do. EDIT: Oh and has anyone noticed a link between the two players in the lead, and the manager running away with the worst manager in 15 years thread? -
I remember reading something about The Owner of Virgin (forgot what his name was) was interested in buying Northern Rock. Can't recall if it was a rumor or actually true. Any updates on that? The Rock has been nationalised. Happened weeks ago.
