  2. Who's got the keys to the city these days? thomas[/member] Have you banned Odin or are you giving him a chance to come on and explain himself? Nee idea, I’ve done nowt apart from have a succulent pork dinner. WHAT IS THE CRIME? THIS IS DEMOCRACY MANIFEST.
  3. Hopefully someone utterly shite, with no tactical nous whatsoever that’ll take the club down.
  4. Supposedly works for the BBC. If that twitter account is the person of the same name, then yeah, he does. His name appears on a lot of match reports on the BBC website. In fact, he's written one for the England u21 game this evening: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48752768
  5. As an aside to today's shit any idea who's leaving the Chron? I notice James Pearce, who covers Liverpool for the Liverpool Echo (also TM/Reach) is also leaving. Wonder if they're both going to that American website that's supposedly poaching reporters?
  6. They didn't intervene because they're a mile off buying the club.
  7. Nah, Barnes is the one handling the "takeover" - a man who presumably lives with someone that actually lets him leave the house with this haircut:
  8. An absolutely incompetent arselicker. Hopelessly out of his depth.
  9. 30 years old, currently single and living outside the NE anyway. With this and the impending shitstorm that is Brexit, I'm seriously thinking of seeing what work I can do abroad.
  10. Classless cunts. Coverdale's just said the same re: not telling Rafa.
  11. I really feel like I’ve had enough now like.
  12. England keeper somehow being slower than Belliot coming off her line, there.
  13. Cameroon number 3 needs to go in with a wild lunge, now.
  14. Was scored in August apparently, only just getting the coverage now.
  15. I’m fairly convinced he’s off now like. As I’ve said before, the only hope is that an announcement is on hold as there’s a plan to tie it in with news of the takeover. However, if that’s a slow burner and is now looking likely to run past 30 June, you’d *think* Rafa staying would just be announced ASAP. What really scares me is that you know there’ll be no contingency plan. The talk was they didn’t even bother speaking to Rafa until the season ended. Not a chance they’ll have someone else in mind.
  16. Met him at a charity so once. He was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny.
  17. Firmly in the belief anything regarding the takeover now will come out at the back end of next week. It’s public knowledge that Rafa’s contract runs out on 30 June and that if not renewed, the club is without a manager. In effect, the club *should* have to clarify what’s going on with regards to that either way. Trying to remain optimistic, it feels like any announcement of a takeover will be tied together with that.
