Unless we're plotting something that the papers are yet to pick up, there's not really been a solid link as to who a replacement will be. A lot of ifs, buts and maybes and that's what's worrying.

Not sure how I feel about this. If it was the beginning of the summer and an obvious replacement was lined up, then fine. But a huge chunk of me thinks, especially given the recent Keegan/Rafa comparisons, this feels like it could be Milner/Schweinsteiger all over again.
