Quite simply: No. When newcastle were relegated most people knew we had one of the strongest squads supported by one of the best facilities in the championship. Ashley has not changed at all. You would expect a side like Newcastle to gain immidiate promotion, and thats not down to Ashley's actions. Unfortunately he's our best option at the moment. Due to the financial crisis, most buyers stay away. I don't believe his "We are commited"-shit at all. My bet is that he will sell as soon as he can get some sort of return from his investmenst, even if that means he'll cut his losses.
