He and Llambias think we are a bunch of thick Geordie twats who will shout for a week or two and then just give in, that's what happened after keegan, that's what happened after relegation. They'll be laughing at us with their little friend Dennis and thinking what a hoot, stupid Geordie bastards.

Here's a prediction. The next set of propoganda lies will be that it was all Shearer's fault we went down, nothing whatsoever to do with Llambias or Ashley, and because he ballsed it up and got us relegated, well they just HAD to sell the naming rights. I mean what else could they do? They didn't WANT to 'sell' it but blablafuckinbla. Except there won't be a buyer and Sports Direct will get thousands of pounds of mentions and IF we get promoted he will put us up for sale again.

If they change the sign at the front of the stadium they're going to have to have some hefty security around to protect it. But he'll be chuckling away to himself, tee hee, what fantastic freeeeeeeee publicity for Sports Direct.
  4. If we go up we'll be back down season after if Ashley is still in charge. He's not going to spend more than about 2 million on players so how can we stay up? Hopefully Moat is working behind the scene to raise the money to buy the fat bastard out. We can only hope.

He's bought them out hasn't he? My understanding is the money goes to the club now not the franchises.

As a marketing idea the very best you could say about it is that it lacks any sort of class. In reality it is nothing more than an attempt to copy what his arch rival, Whelan, did at Wigan. To him the history, tradition and standing of the club mean nothing and there is no material difference between us and a club like Wigan. I don't think any of Ashley's decisions, including this one, are aimed at taking the piss. He is simply applying the same business principles that he used to build up Sports Direct and, as he has done since he bought the club, he demonstrates that he doesn't understand the first thing about the club and who his customers are. The sad fact is he is as thick as sh1t in a bucket when it comes to operating outside the business area he knows and understands. As I said before, he will be loving this and thinking all this publicity is free publicity for his poxy shops.

They're just trying to demonstrate what potential sponsors will get. It's a s*** idea, but the name will change to whatever hapless company they can get for next season. Like Sports Direct. Watch it happen.

Not for long it won't. I can't see anyone buying this after the prolonged protests that will happen, he knows this and so will get free publicity for his poxy shops until the club is sold. He is probably so perverted he thinks the publicity will be great for him, good or bad. What's the saying, knows the price of everything but the value of nothing. So apt.
  9. What, so he's suddenly telling the truth? How did this happen? The thing I don''t get is how Llambias ever expects anyone to believe a word he ever says again, Well, most people anyway.
  10. And surely we didn't hear booing after the third goal went in? :colo: Come on CSKA, stuff em.
  11. :colo: :colo: :colo: :colo: :colo: Andy Gray is going to burst into tears.
  12. Well they were praising him to the skies last night, but let's face it, he'll probably be sold in January.
  13. So whos going to break the news to Llambias and Ashley? Or the wonderful Alan Oliver who wrote the article - he must think he's back in the good books.
  14. This is my favourite bit: '"Yes, Mike has made mistakes, none more so than the appointment of Dennis Wise as director of football, but what has not been a mistake is the way the club is now reaping the rewards of unearthing young talent. "Mike is absolutely delighted at the way the likes of Ranger and Andy Carroll have come through." So in other words he was right all along in appointing little Dennis because look at CARROLL (wtf) and Ranger coming through. I hear Liar LLambias here. Clueless twat. Oh and he won't sell of any YOUNG talent so it's all the rest for sale then?
  15. Have you read the article at all? He's praising Hughton up big time here.
  16. Puppet manager has already said at his press conferance that the 20 million is not for transfers Surely you didn't ever believe that 20 million was going to be used for transfers? In one transfer window? By Ashley?
  17. i think he'd walk into the team myself Take it you didn't see him at all last season then? He's nowhere good enough to replace Taylor or Coloccini. He might have to when one or both are sold in January.
  18. definitely There'll never be another Wenger, and we'll never have 10 scouts who each see every player Wenger is interested in. Unless Llambias fancies a change from his casino duties and does it himself.
  19. What I don't understand is all this shite about Ashley putting 20 million into the club as if he's a wonderful chap for doing so. You don't buy a house and then not maintain the roof, keep the damp out etc. He has to invest something just to keep the club going, but anyone who thinks he is going to spend any of that on players is sadly mistaken. We'll be lucky to see 2 mill spent on players come January, and that will probably be funded by selling Taylor and a couple of others. As for this BobYule - wtf? Is he Llambias in disguise? Poor Mikey, just made the wrong decisions, misunderstood, all Keegan's fault. How can we be so horrible to ole Mikey, he's just misguided. Wood, trees, and all that.
  20. Yes, because that would have helped us enormously. Aye Barton has been a great help to us by keeping us in the Premiership and playing like a demon this season. Or maybe not.
  21. He's got previous I think? Amazing we haven't signed him before now. Time yet I suppose.
  22. I think between him, Llambias and Hughton there's a good chance any hope of promotion will be destroyed anyway. How many points between the top 10? We'll be lucky to get a playoff place after January with a good chance of further sales happening. And if we did go up we'd come right back down again with these championship standard players, or is Shola going to take us to the top 6?
  23. Krul may not be to happy. Outside of that several of them had been saying for a while that they wanted Hughton as the manager, that isnt something they have to say to the media. Its not the same as just giving some positive comments when asked questions. They're working with the guy, getting wins & enjoying themselves. For the time being, i expect many of them are happy at the appointment. Aye it will be like getting the softest teacher in the school getting the headmasters job. Whoopdedoop, we can go drinking every night of the week! We can turn up late for training and no-one will blink an eye! And best of all we get to lunch with Fat ASh every so often! That will be Taylor gone in January - all hope of Shearer being manager extinguished, followed by Colo, Jonas (no big loss there like) and probably Krul. Never mind we'll have a million to spend on Championship players and Harewood like loan signings, that's after he's shored up the overdraft and paid the wages with the other 19 million.
