  1. Just thinking that, he just strolls around pointing and passes the ball backwards, never attempts to challenge the opposition and gives the ball away. Surely they have someone better?
  2. Was Stretford his Agent when all that "He's going to Newcastle " shite happened? Of course now we know it was all garbage. He had no intention of coming here ever, something cooked up by his "people" to get Ferguson and the ManU board moving (who knows Ferguson may have been involved anarl). So who's to say this isn't a game to get Man U to pay him 250k a week? He may think he's so loved by the fans he will be able to play that game, but it's a very dangerous game to play. Or he might have a move finalised already.
  3. Why not? Because they're English? And the English are incorruptible? Sorry but no-one can be as crap as that ref today. That was the definition of corruption. And if it wasn't corruption he should never ref again. But heyho, no-one will investigate because they think "that doesn't happen in the Premier League", well it happens everywhere else so why not here? And probably the reason the Championship refs are better is that no-one bothers giving them spondoolies. Easy.
  4. That reffing display wasn't crap today, it was corrupt. It happens all over the world, why not here? I wish we had some decent investigative journalists who would work for their money. But they're probably too scared of rocking the boat.
  5. from CaulkinTheTimes on Twitter "On Shay Given rumours. 1) he virtually went on strike before leaving #NUFC and 2) club's hierarchy believe Krul is ready. "
  6. You would think that Waddle (on ESPN), having played for us would be at least sympathetic to the cause, not a bit of it. He slagged off Routledge most of all, praised Villa to the skies (before they completely collapsed) and unbelievingly when we were 2 up he said, "well I know Newcastle are leading 2-0 but to me Villa are the winners so far." This must count as the most utterly ridiculous statement ever made in a commentary surely.
  7. Anyone who calls the Premier league the EPL isn't a proper writer or so called journalist. It'll be the EFA Cup next.
  8. Christonabike how boring is the match if this thread is above it? :colo:
  9. "Fowler and Le Saux (someone who's spoken out against homophobia on numerous occasions - despite being married with kids, he was tarred with the 'gay brush' during his career). The chants against Sol Campbell are still fresh in the mind." Wasn't Le Saux said to be gay because he read the Guardian? The Deviant! And talking of supposed deviancy - people go on and on about male/male anal sex,, what about male/female anal sex? female/male anal sex? I have no idea why people get so upset/uneasy about what gays do in the privacy of their own bedrooms, I always think that maybe they're not too sure about whether they'd enjoy it themselves.
  10. Just reading this thread and some of the moronic remarks shows why there needs to be a campaign. Justin Fashanu would be heckled and chanted at today just as he was in his playing days. As for saying there probably aren't any gay footballers, FFS of course there are gay footballers, but which gay footballer in his right mind would come out if he was subject to the ignorance displayed here and everywhere football related?
  11. Yeh poor Phil Brown, how can they be biased against Hull FFS? haway Arsenal score a couple.
  12. Nice to see the ref getting a pat on the back from Rooney and having such a nice cosy amusing little chat with man U players. Jheesus.
  13. So that's Ramsey, Eduardo and Diaby (against some forgottten Mackem clogger) left with broken limbs. No wonder Wenger seems a bit paranoid.
  14. Ashley Cole will be keeping Bridge out of the headlines this weekend, trust me. Nah, it'll be Fedinand next, they'll be dredging up all they can on him (and there'll be plenty no doubt). They have to sell papers after all, and if people didn't buy the rags the stuff would disappear.
  15. This is what puzzles me too, what difference does it make to him what she does after he leaves her? Unless that was the reason he left her, don't suppose we'll ever know (and who the feck cares anyway). Also it can't be the first time this has happened in the history of football. On a football note the defence is looking dodgy though, Ferdinand dodgy, Cole dodgy, Johnson dodgy. They're building Rooney up for a huge fall anarl.
  16. It's the law in Argentina that it's compulsory to smoke, Colo probabbly smokes anarl.
  17. Viduka liked a tab or two, probably still does.
  18. Seems spot on to me, especially if as he says Enrique, Colo and Jonas leave to be replaced by Simpson, Raylor and Hall lookalikes.

CherylKerl is worth the twitter account on its own. I also agree about Winter, I used to like him before I followed him, top four-itis man, and such a little englander which really surprised me.
  20. OMG, I just had a mental picture there of Vanessa Feltz, I forgot the ex MS Bridges was called Vanessa.
  21. Some people go on as if this is the first time in history that one player has had an affair with an (ex) team mates' missus. It must have happened countless times that the teams knew about but the public didn't. I think Terry and most of his England team mates are total bellends but frankly I don't understand the fuss, there'll be more shagging than this going on and who gives a toss really? Whether he's captain or not will be Capello's decision, no-one else's. As for the News of the World! Ha! The journos are either winos or convicted wife beaters or jailbirds (Rob Shepherd stand up), the hypocrisy is just laughable.
  22. and his new Scott Parker haircut. This Guy Mowbray has got his "UNITED" scarf on tonight, jeezus.

    Harry Redknapp

He'll walk or get fined. At the most he'll end up for 10 days in an open prison. Rich people and tax dodgers just hire their lawyers to appeal. Absolute zero chance of him ending up in a proper prison.
