Joselu have not shown anything to suggest that his is better than Mitro....far from actually. Not from what i have seen. As a fan i prefer mitro and his personality and extreme passion for the fans over Joselu. But i trust Rafa but really hope Mitro will play a positive role in our relegation battle.

i do still not believe Mitro have been given a fair run in the team. Just saying it could be interesting to see him play regular for 1 season (on loan) before selling. He had a spell like many other strikers were him missed too much. Not much worse than Gayle atm imo. Not saying he is a top class forward, just saying i could see him being a good sub to have coz he offers something that many others don´t. And in this relegation fight i do not think it will be wise to sell him. Imagine that could have happened if he had the last 3 header chances Gayle missed poorly in the last couple og matches....?

Agree. would at least keep him for the rest of the season. He offers something different from the rest of our strikeforce - strikeforce Anyway - imo he could be a good supersub to have when chasing a result or to come on and bully tired defenders... Next season i would rather loan him out for 1 season to see what he can become before selling...

Done for pace a few times on Saturday by the Swansea full back a few of us noticed on Saturday. Because he's small and nippy people mistake that for raw pace which he doesn't have. If he's a key player for us we're in trouble. He is still ok fast and yes - we are in trouble. We have also been best when he has played. It's hard to disagree with what you say because the stats back you up and I'd have to agree with you and say we are better with him in the side. I just don't think he's as fast as people think, certainly there's a few times I've noticed recently where the full back has had the edge on him for pace. Going off topic slightly, as things stand him and Murphy are our two best wingers and I found it strange that Murphy sat the Swansea game out at the expense of an out of sorts Richie. Agree. Also agree Murphy should have replaced Ritchie with 15-20 min to go.

Gayle for Murphy

Rafa's tactics in England have generally always looked to have a strong target man in the side, even if they aren't scoring. Liverpool with players like Crouch and Heskey being the most obvious examples. Allows quick progression from back to front which is beneficial for us currently as we're spending a lot of the game on the back foot and don't really have the quality at this level capable of keeping possession. If you look at the selection last few games, we don't really have any defenders who are particularly comfortable on the ball. Clark loves an aimless clip forward and Lascelles tries to keep it simple. Then up front Gayle struggled with holding the ball up in the Championship, let alone the Prem. Unless we completely overhaul our playing style or squad, think we're most likely going to stick with a striker capable in the air up front. Which for all Joselu's infuriating play, means unless we sign someone on loan or Mitro somehow gets some trust back, Joselu will keep getting time. Unless Rafa was so impressed with how we played against Stoke he goes completely against all of that. f*** knows. of all our forwards he is the worst target man /keeping the ball...if he manage to keep it and find a team mate he is nowhere near the box. do not know whats going on with Mitro? But he is twice the player imo. for god sake the minions Gayle and Perez are better link up players....size isn´t everything!

he is not fast and does not dribble pas 3 defenders. He has and good left foot, produces assists and is a good professional. Keep and maybe sell in the summer.
