I don't think we ever played this bad under Pardew ( and I would say that along with Ashley those two are the worst thing that's ever happened to Newcastle) Collocini seemed to take control of games under Pardew and we then had some sort of ambition to attack, but under Bruce we have a back 7 that pass amongst each other which leaves Miggy and co isolated and when they do eventually receive the ball their options are limited so they play for a set piece which gets lumped in the box. More or less the same... Cisse on the RW. That is probably the worst decision ever seen in the history of football.

its all good a the back : fernandez, lascelles, clark, schär and flo are all good. Schär and Flo are just a bit out of form atm because of injuries recently. Nothing to worry about imo

In fairness he seems worth a lowball bid given there is very little other interest. Leeds offered 3m up front or something daft and no one else is bidding. We have Gayle which Bruce fairly seems to rate as he offers something different and is a natural poacher. Get him up and running - but if we can make a straight swap - Gayle out and Bowen in - it will be fine for me. From what i have seen, he looks alright and is only 23.

Yedlin, Krafth and Manquillo are all poor. None of them offers anything - especially not going forward. Poor signing. He offers nothing extraordinary not a great defender either. 3 average championship players for one position - where else than NUFC?

Many things is wrong at NUFC. But for us to sign Andy for cheap money in a 3rd - 4th choice role is not bad. If he can get fit and just play well 2nd half of the season - then it will be an ok signing. Play him right and he is a beast. I would have liked more quality obviously - but if he is a backup signing, then i don´t mind. Actually looking forward to see Muto and Joelinton.
