Carroll is awful on FIFA. Hardly ever wins the headers and spooned a ridiculous number of shots wide. That could just be me though haha I seem to have forgotten where the goal is recently. I play HBA as a forward. So far he's scored all my goals. Not that FIFA is a good indicator. On last years game Smith was undeniably our best striker. was heart-broken when he left after the first season....forgot he was on loan

I'm desperate for him to succeed. Doesn't mean I have to like him or love him like some already do (equally as unreasonable). I dislike the way he got the job and dislike the way he was painted as a step up when he clearly wasn't. But I really hope he succeeds and if he's to be our next long-term manager....then so be it. As long as we improve each season. He doesn't irritate me as much as I thought he would when being interviewed. agree (not sure about the interview part though)

That would be something....i like it alot....actually its just so dam* SEXY. not sure i would like to see jonas and nolan dropped.....and if we play nolan he has to go forward coz that is what he is best at.....offers little in DM. Have not seen so much of Ben arfa yet....but my guess is he will work best just behind caroll....which means we wont start in a normal 4-4-2 when he plays! Dave´s line up offers also a lot of opportunies to shuffle if nessary....coz especially Ben Arfa, jonas and barton can cover more than 1 position without a problem!

actually i think we or ashley have been doing ok since the beginning of last season. Ashley have spent ok on new players...most of them ok....Chris made a few mistakes....perch and best! This season have been really enjoyable....but was really gutted to see chris get sacked....felt it was time to take the club to another level with a proven (international) manager. The presentation of Pardew still bothers me....hope me proves me wrong!

not a fan of Peter but i think he did alright against Wigan....worked well with Shola and got some scoring opportunities. Deserves to start tonight. not sure best and shola will be good together? wouldn´t be sad to see ranger start!
