  1. I know But blimey does he look good out there. Only position we're lacking, with him, we're complete.
  2. Chillwell causing all sorts of problems. Hopefully stays fit till the Euros.
  3. They'll get the plaudits as they play for the big teams but Lewis Dunk has been brilliant for the past couple years. Completed the most passes in the PL in 2023. Pretty sure he'll be starting in the Euros, too. Youtube 'Dunk chest' to see some really intelligent defending.
  4. Flanagan was great during Liverpool’s title charge in 13/14. Was pretty disappointed with how his career panned out because he certainly showed some ability that season. Or maybe it was a case of Suarez raising everyone’s level.
  5. If he did it for one season, I could understand but he was consistently scoring 20 a season. Strikers always say they treasure tap ins more so than any other type of goal. The Sky Sports PL Legends episode needs to be revisited for a lot of you because he gets endorsements from Scholes, Keane, Rio and others as being the best finisher of his era. Rio and Keane always reference him as the gold standard of what a striker should be in his movement and finishing ability and I agree. You may not like it but you “can’t believe they made it”
  6. Don’t think his name should be attached to this thread, though especially when you have the likes of David N’gog and Robbie Savage flying around.
  7. That goal against Fulham where he got it on the half way line and took on their entire defense and scored. There’s your dribble.
  8. But that’s what they wanted him to do. The whole team was built around him being where he needed to be and finishing off chances with the ruthlessness he possessed.
  9. Man said Ruud Van Nisterooy with over 95 Premier League goals and a La liga Golden Boot.
  10. Yea.. he was striker with incredible striking technique. What did you want him to do? track back and defend and then not be in the box to finish off chances? Being in the right place at the right time is a skill within itself and his finishing is the best I've seen in the Premier League to date.
  11. There's a whole lot more to Declan Rice than he's been allowed to show. Obviously playing a role for the team(like when he was 1 against 5 against Liverpool)
  12. That just tells me it's going to be a very tense deadline day. ffs
  13. I'm raging and taking this all the way back to Levy. if he had sold Kane to Man U like the whole world thought would have happened, none of this would ever have happened.
  14. If it's 15 mil, I'd rather keep him as he's that valuable to the team regardless of age but it seems he wants the move so what can you do.
  15. Thought we were passed the stage of seeing disappointment on the forum front page. Feels like a solid punch to the gut, this.
  16. Jordan Ayew’s Palace stats are really poor for a player who starts up front for them as their #9. 20 goals in 199 Premier League appearances for Palace. A few weeks ago, he was the most fouled player in the PL, so I guess that’s what his role is but still, really poor stats considering nine of those goals were scored in his first season for them five years ago.
  17. That's unacceptable for a goalkeeper to concede that goal. I saw the highlights to that game, and there was a moment where he made a save and instead of moving backwards to protect his goal, he moved ahead of his defenders to receive a pass. I've never in my life seen something like that.
  18. He has the wool pulled over my every week. Generally poor but then can put the burners on and create chances and goals.
  19. Don’t think there’s a single player from Everton I’d take. Maybe Mykalenko, but only as backup.
  20. They’re just better. What can you do?
