  1. Watching Bayern - RBL from yesterday and the Redbull team has some gems. What an interesting team. Theyre all so young. I'm torn whether to like them or not because of the corporate connection. Werner, Forsberg, Keita and a young French defender who's name I cant spell are very good.
  2. I agree. I was actually just curious who he thought was the best CM currently.
  3. Not even the best in Real Madrid IMO. Really? So you think Modric is the best CM in the world?
  4. Toni Kroos - best CM in the world?
  5. Replacements for Carrasco and Greizmann then. I'd love to see that. He suits them very well.
  6. I don't think he's useful in a team that holds the ball a lot like City does. He could be good in our squad. A huge upgrade on Colback. He seems to be a threat from set pieces, too. I see him win a lot of headers from corners. They don't always go in, but he's involved at least.
  7. It's a pretty interesting final tbh.
  8. I feel like he's doing an impression of all of the commentators he grew up watching... at the same time.
  9. 2017 has been so bad for saturday PL fixtures.
  10. I think he's awful. Every time I see him play he's poor. Not sure what people see in him and they obviously do as he's played for some top teams but then so did Aaron Winter. His decision making is poor. His heading is poor. His shooting is poor. Never been quick. He's now basically Juve's Gouf! Summed him up perfectly.
  11. An underrated assist is Lampard to Ramires vs Barca. There's only one camera angle for it and it's zoomed in, but the initial touch and vision for the pass was brilliant. He also got it between four or five players.
  12. That's one of the best crosses I've ever seen. Absolutely perfect.
  13. Trippier's a pretty good replacement. Saw a game a few weeks ago when he got like one or two assists and could have got 5 if the players had finished. He has five assists in 19 games. Really good for RB.
  14. The thing that irks me about that, is it's always done before the Monday Night game. Has done the same for me for years.
  15. He needs more Training. went off the rails this season Always does against his bogey teams. thought the championship would have been a good platform to gain experience. Level crossing could have seen him score more. He's been a bit of a passenger this year. Hopefully he's back on track next season.
  16. Really nice play from Chelsea for their opening goal. Hazard just snuck in between their defenders.
  17. See that I can forgive. Some other calls recently, no,though.
  18. Thanks, man I really do appreciate that.
  19. I know. I think it's a little bit weird, too. I moved here when I was 12 and had to put up with a lot of anti football/England talk from school kids. The people who do watch football are from South America and you best believe they're on Barca and Real Madrid's dick. Everyone here wants England to lose everything it seems. I love Newcastle, have since I was three, but when the only other Newcastle fans you know are on this forum, it's difficult to have the same feelings as a lot of you. I actually didn't even know Sunderland were our rivals 'till 2005 and I can't even hate them like you all do. They're simply not on our level to me and I see them as no threat whatsoever. I'm surprised when I see the thread bumped and new threads being made because it's reached 1000 pages, because they're fucking shit and we're Newcastle. I'm a big Premier League fan as hard as that may be to believe. Right now I want Spurs to do well. I used to hate them before as they would take our players despite finishing lower. But now that I'm older and have seen so much bullshit in the game, I just want to see something organic. I'm naive and I think the better our domestic teams do, the better the national team will do. It's never the case, but here's hoping. As for Man Utd winning, they do compete in the CL and will spice up that competition. Also they have Rashford and some other English players. Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid have dominated the Europe for the past 10 years and Spain have won three titles in that time. I'm hoping we can do something similar.
  20. I can see how you guys would think that as I used to when I lived in England. But I live in America now, so I just want England and English teams to do well. Moving here made by England love go up like 900%
  21. I can see Man Utd losing to Celta Vigo. I hope not, I really want them win the whole competition. For years, La Liga has been winning the CL and EL and it's time that stopped.
  22. Wow! That's crazy. Azpilicueta is unlucky not to be in there. He's always been consistent, but I thought he really stood out this season.
