If we lost him, I wouldn't be that upset. As long as Rafa stays, that's all that matters. Let's say we got 30 mil for him, I'd get Maupay from Brentforfd. He plays a similar stye and has 24 in the Championship this season. Think he could get 10 in the Prem. Think there are still steals in the market. Maupay would probably be 15-18 mil. Personally would be best for both arties if he left. His career could get a lift and we need the cash.

I love the start of the season when you've not had a dire summer which is something we're quite accustomed to unfortunately; warm weather, getting ahead of yourself if you win the first few games, seeing new players for the first time (again, I know) etc etc. Christmas period is class also, in fact that entire period between the international breaks. Just constant club football from November-March. Probably this period we’re in right now - Easter. for me. Internationals done and dusted, Champions League Knockout phase in full swing, weekend and midweek games. Feel like there’s football on every day of the week.

I can respect Spurs. We were in the same place in 2008. We were making fun of them. “What’s the difference between Spurs and a triangle? A triangle has three points”. They got Redknapp, we got Kinnear. That’s when they kicked on and it was all organic. I’ve enjoyed their progression over the past 10 years. They constantly lose their best players but are still able to compete. A lot to admire about Spurs.
