Would love Cattermole here for that position.

Scholes is playing amazing today. Everything is going through him.

Agree with Hart and Green but not Foster. He's very error prone, erratic and nervous when run at. That Carling Cup final is all he's been holding on to.

2-0 to Man U. But I think we'll cause problems but struggle to put the chances away. -
Nice work by Joe Cole there. Liverpool lead 1-0 though Ngog.

It does raise questions, yet again, about who makes the decisions about transfers at that club. They've had a recent history there of friction between players, and between players and manager. Mancini is still trying to establish himself, and there will be lots of new faces anyway who will need to be knitted together into a team. Why bring in Balotelli? Not only is he a difficult player to manage, he actually seems to take pride in being difficult. I think he's overrated. If he does come, he'll end up with five or six goals.

Might be old news but Bruno Alves going to Zenit. Always thought he'd wind up at a bigger team than that.

The Big sam at it again.. 'The Passion of the Christ' is on TV. Haven't seen a lad take such a hiding since Kevin Davies kicked the shit out of that dwarf at Butlins.

Newcastle are being linked with a move for Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra. Spanish sources claim the 29-year-old Mali captain will be offered to the newly-promoted Magpies. Real boss Jose Mourinho held talks with Diarra this week about his future and it is understood he is willing to release the defensive midfielder, who cost the Madrid outfit about £20million four years ago. Diarra was a key figure in the side that claimed back-to-back titles in his first two seasons. But he has not featured much since. Diarra was a key figure in the side that claimed back-to-back titles in his first two seasons. But he has not featured much since. Toon manager Chris Hughton is anxious to strengthen his squad, but is having to work on a limited budget. And Diarra’s wages could be beyond Newcastle with a £30,000-a-week wage cap in operation. But one player joining Newcastle is Everton’s Dan Gosling. He was in Newcastle last week to tie up his proposed move. He any good? No quotes or anything, probably bullshit, anyway.

He's not worth that much. Maybe 7-8 million.

It was on ESPN here in the States. Pretty boring game. Spurs looked very poor.
-
I can see us hating him, too, after he changes his mind at the eleventh hour and joins Sunderland.
-
Is he more of an attacking of defensive mid? From what I've seen of him in Everton games, I'm very glad, he seems hungry.
-
Janson has been really shit so far.
-
hmm, i don't like people suffering but he's one i would give a flicker about! french cunt!

Christmas fixtures. When you've got a couple of weeks off and games coming fast and frequently.
-
I'm amped up for it. Really looking forward to it after watching this imo, shit world cup.

I take it you agree with what Suarez did then, Dave? England players are spineless.
-
nail on head. Always the voice of reason.
-
I was trembling with rage when that happened Is the card a circle?
-
Nope. He was caught and punished. That would make every single foul a cheat. It was a foul of sorts.
-
When Steven Taylor did it and got away with it he was a legend, now Suares does it and he's a cheat.
-
Took one for the team. Legend. You all know you'd do the same.
