I think its unfair that this lad gets all the blame on here. He was FREE, has got a few goals and assists, and actually wants to play for the club. Where as Cabella and De Jong who cost money and haven't contributed nearly as much as their price tag has justified are given a free ride. I strongly believe if you put Colback in a functioning team like Swansea or Everton, he'd perform quite well.

That makes for some grim reading. Raylor wasn't good enough six years ago in 2009 FFS. And I think the only reason we bought him was because he kept scoring against us.

How De Gea only has four caps for Spain I'll never know. Evra will play in his fifth CL final and for a third different team. He's only won one of the other four.

Real will throw everything at Man Utd for De Gea now. Casillas has been awful and that was the final straw. Quite a shame because I'd rather De Gea stay in the Premier League.

Watching the first half and think Neuer should have saved the second goal. The ball landed maybe inches away from where his foot was before he decided to dive. He could have made a kick save.

just noticed that. Used to love Cisse but the suspension really hurt us. I'll throw Haidara in the like pile. Can't help but feel sorry for him. He's seems to have an awkward injury every game. Kinda like Eugene from Hey Arnold.

Was he the one who assisted Cisse's winner against Fulham? I remember him going ballistic after one of his assists and I think it was that one.

I think N-O members have made me dislike him. He gets a lot of praise but doesn't really do anything. He did ok on the weekend, mind.

Kind of agree on Cisse, him bailing Pardew out didn't help either. Really frustrating watching him play as well with some of the braindead offside runs he makes and his inability to pass or control the ball in certain games. I can't bring myself to hate him mind but I don't share the same affection a lot of fans do for him either. Quite similar to how I felt about Martins when he was here. Ahh, I'm slow. Wish we had a midfield that could keep the ball as he would thrive. Earlier in the season, he'd receive the ball with two or three players surrounding him and somehow find a way out. It was great to watch. Kinda funny how we're pinning our survival hopes on a 21 year old kid from the Second division in Spain.

Huh? I was basing off the way he plays. He's more of an attacking midfielder than the standard #9. In fact, I think the 10 would be the best fit.

Another excellent piece. I don't understand why none of these teams look at Sevilla's success in the Uefa Cup as an example of what can be done. They might win it a fourth time and I think are still in contention for fourth place.
