Just because Damien Duff scores a hat-trick everyone thinks he should play, he will have to play well in every pre-season match to tell me if he should start in the coming season, because he has been abysmal since joining, takes more than a match against 'pool for me to think hes good. Same with Milner in the middle, if KK plans are for him in the middle, then he must do a good job throughout most of the pre-season. N'Zogbia will be a massive player next season imo, hopefully in the Barton/Geremi role of last season. My midfield would be: Butt Spiderman/Milner N'Zogbia Guthrie/Barton (may be good in this role) Unless Keegan plays 4-4-2, then that is the chance to test out Milner in the middle.

I can see Hull staying up tbh, finishing 16th/17th. I voted WBA, Stoke and the Mackems 18th. mackems 19th. wba 20th. stoke

I know he was pretty over-hyped as Beckham's replacement for England and his end product is questionable, but he's fast as f*** (something we're really crying out for) and is pretty neat and tidy on the ball IMO. A replacement for Dyer perhaps. Bentley signing for Spurs might force him out, too. I think Bentley is more over-hyped as Beckhams replacement tbh, which is a good thing unless we were trying to sign him. And i could just imagine Lennon running down the wing whipping a ball across for Oba or Owen to wak in 20 times a season, magic

Im reasonably happy with that team, but could do with a new defensive midfielder (younger) and either milner or guiterez? on the right, see which is better first though. N'Zogbia for Barton and we are pretty much sorted for a comfortable 8th-11th finish. To break into top 8 i think we also need a new centre half and a target striker (instead of viduka)

Im sorry to say but from my experiances of going after matches/training ground, hes the most 'loyal' player and only player who likes to spend time speaking to the fans. He also always gave gloves, shorts etc... away and before some matches he throws his jumper into the fans. Has a heart for the geordies. Great keeper, maybe not good enough for starting every week but im not sad to see his name on the starting 11. We will need an improvement in a year or two (hopefully tim krul)

I prefer the Arsenal game to be moved to a Sunday tbh. But i think the United one will be, maybe Arsenal a stupid 12:45 on a Saturday.
