I normally jinx players by praising them on here, but fuck me what a performance. Utterly brilliant considering we paid nothing for him. Has the makings of a brilliant defence with that back 4 like.

Very much missed today in our attacking side. Just shows what that extra threat of his pace brings to the side. I hope he's back for Boxing Day.

Jose Enrique out for at least three weeks with hamstring injury

Thought he was good again this game. Considering Lennon has been on fire for those bastards, I think he and Zog interchanged quite well defensively and attacking - covering each others arse. -

Must win game imo. I'd be more confident if Oba was playing. No idea what the score will be, I'm just praying we take all 3 points. -

And yet she got the boardroom shenanigans bang on this summer. We refused to believe her iirc. Wonder who her source is this time? Hardly, all she did was print any negative story she could think of and one or two ended up vaguely close to the truth. If you throw enough s*** some of it will stick as the saying goes. Have a gander at a few of these articles and emails she's been writing since March: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/mar/04/newsstory.newcastleunited http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/may/07/newcastleunited.premierleague http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/jun/22/newcastleunited.premierleague http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/jul/28/newcastleunited.doncaster http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/11/newcastleunited.premierleague1?gusrc=rss&feed=football http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/16/premierleague.newcastleunited http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/19/westhamunited.sunderland http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/aug/25/newcastleunited.boltonwanderers http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,48889.msg1439810.html#msg1439810 http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,48889.msg1439821.html#msg1439821 I think she knew something was up fairly soon. If you disagree then that's fair enough. All taken from the Media thread btw. Reading it over, Taylor and the Daily Mail were all very negative all summer. You tapping it like? Those teeth...

Jose was contender for MOTM imo. Had a blinding second half. -
Both as thick as mince. Although I would be quite interested to see the phone bills in Wearside next month. Probably been saving thier giro for a few weeks just so they can 'get one' on us. Suffice to say I'm expecting to see DVDs/T-Shirts/Mugs as someone said earlier.

The thing is...alot of hype is made by 'Ashley funding this' and 'Ashley funding that'....surely revanue earned by the club on shirt sales, ticket sales, tv packages would more than fund a fucking transfer or two???
-
Good idea...perhaps fucking Chelski will obay the 10yd rule at St James unlike last season. Cunts.

^^ This. Its actually quite disheartening when the rest of the ground cant be arsed and your belting out songs at the top of your voice. I understand what you are saying but the song "stand up, in the leazes end" is s***. What are the people in the Leazes end supposed to do?, stand up and sing the same song to stand up for no apparent reason? Of course no one joined in. I didnt mean that specific song, just in general. You need to calm down a bit!

Very good first half, poor second half. Pretty much like the football. Cooincidence, I dont think so.

Personally, although its against the rules, I dont see the problem in the slightest with standing. Yes the stewards are only doing their 'jobs' by the letter of the law, but trying to make 5k people sit down is not going to happen. I personally witness one bloke being told to sit down, and all he said was 'are you going to telll everyone else the same thing, or am I being discriminated against?' I had the sense it would boil over if they became more zelous...but they decided to back off when the chants started. Just leave us be...its causing no harm, everyone is enjoying themselves and the majority can act normally.
