Not sure if I am misunderstanding you but I have a theatre programme mounted and in a frame but I took it to a professional framer to get it done. I did do a couple myself 20+ years ago and I do (or did have) a booklet on how to do it that I bought at the time. Nah you definitely understood correctly. You can buy ready made frames for signed football shirts which you mount yourself, was after similar for a football programme but can't find any anywhere. May have to take the hit in the wallet and take it to a professional.

Randomly, has anyone ever mounted football programmes in a frame before? I have two from the first home/away games after my DOB which I'd like to get mounted after I have them signed, but there's absolutely f all available on the net (ready made) or guides on how to do it.

Insane that Safe Standing doesn't exist in this country yet. The Away End at Burnley was fairly iffy place to be with everyone standing and barely enough room to move...that and everyone was stood where the seats where 'based' on a 6" ledge then a 1 foot drop. If safe standing was around no risk would be there.

They reportedly will, but it looks like it will still take a few years, and their current stadium was in dire need of a makeover (which they had been putting off, as they expected to move to the new one). I read somewhere that they needed to restart the work by the end of 2015 at the Nou Mestella otherwise the concrete would no longer be good enough to build on. Either way the old Mestella needed some desperate work anyway. Looked like shit (but class at the same time) when I went.

I always thought East End and West End merged, as that's the way that it has always been portrayed. Didn't actually know West End went bust. Yeah I didn't realise that either. Was practically a merger as directors/players all got onboard once they'd went bust. Spoilered in case people wanted to read it for themselves.

Finished this book a few weeks ago. Whilst I thought I knew all about how it all began, this book highlighted loads I never knew. Well worth the money and well written by Paul too.
