The Latest reports out of Buenos Aires is that English club Newcastle United have made contact with Juan Román Riquelme, Boca's powerful playmaker, about a possible transfer in the summer. Newcastle United find themselves in 13th position in the English Premier League, just 4 points off the drop zone. It has been said from the start of the season Newcastle lack creativity, with for instance the ageing Nicky Butt not getting any younger. Riquelme is seen as an ideal partner in central midfield given that Danny Guthrie, another young starlet at Newcastle, is ready to step up and take Butt's position in the starting line up. The question has to be asked does Riquelme want another crack at Europe? He had a torrid time at Barcelona, but did remarkably well at Villarreal by getting them into the Champions League twice. Following a tense situation between him and Villarreal's director general and club manager Manuel Pellegrini though, Riquelme accepted a five month loan deal back to his beloved Boca Juniors in February 2007, and that is where he still remains. Boca won’t want to lose their star man, but a fee of around €12 million euros has been mentioned as sufficient to prise Riquelme away from La Bombonera. We will have to wait and see what happens in the next few months, but many would like to see the great Riquelme have one last crack at Europe with a big club. http://www.southamericanfootball.co.uk/files/articles.php?article_id=213

It wasn't necessarily an ill-tempered match, however Bolton picked up five bookings, which included that of captain Kevin Nolan, who will now sit out the clashes against Arsenal and Manchester United in the next fortnight. http://www.bwfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/MatchReport/0,,1004~46926,00.html

Duff should play after his great performance today.

I'm not 100% sure, but from what i have checked, Lescott, Neville, Hibbert, Arteta and Cahill have all 4 yellow cards and will be suspended against us if they receive a yellow card against Aston Villa.
