Oddly enough, Viduka is totally unsuited to playing Sam's 4-3-3 formation as he doesn't have the pace or high-jumping heading ability to make that work. Viduka has great feet and is a super finisher which makes him a decent 4-4-2 option with pace on both wings and alongside a quick front man. At least we have started altering our play accordingly from the big hoof up the pitch in recognition this isn't going to work with these players. The next step is to get the midfield to fit the system, whatever that is. Looks like a work in progress. usually 433 is about getting the ball out to the wings, to wip in a cross for the main striker and the other wing or to play slick balls when the wingers are going inwards... this is a type of playing style viduka would be really good at! so saying he is totally unsuited is just stupid! unless he is so slow that he cant run from midfield to goal line at all! the other way is usually to make the odd long ball for the midt striker to head on! however we dont have quick feets at wingers (exept martins, but we know how that works) however, sam guiding for the CB has not been good enough as the CB is still "hoofing" the balls up. so it is what you said, alter the style of play that suits our players, and the first style of play i think would suit both viduka and owen, and the other way with martins (still incredible his jumping skills)

anybody think godsmarck can make a debut next season? in the cup or something like that? i wish we could use em for matches like that, not as starters but as subs?

has there ever been a norwegian player in newcastle? riise is a f****** c***... aldough i wouldnt mind seeing him here... can provide goals and is a very consistent player... but then again i would mind seeing carew or gams pedersen here as well

Good call on Dave Bentley altho it'd take £8m+ i'd imagine to secure him. Could also operate as the playmaker in the 3man midfield if so desired by BSA. We could definitely spme1 pacey if we do sign a RW, gives the side a different look/option aside from Jimmy. Pattinson's quality. what quality?? there is a varity of these type of tests, ive done a bunch of them liked the RBK test best

i scored a 64% uptake on the bleep test, i think it was level 14 or 15 on the test itself the test in it selv is ment too measure the oxygen level intake in the blood, wich determins fitness level so it just tells the coach wether your fit or not!

Hey, know its a pit out of topic, but couldnt post it anywere else (as i cant create posts) anybody heard of this Kerlon Souza who plays in Cruzeiro, just seen a couple of videos where he uses the seal trick (nod the ball on your head past opponents) where he just goes by everyone absolutly a lovely trick... seems like a good athlete and has been very proven in brazil at the age of 19... last i heard manu arse and midd where out to get him anyone?
