Again, I agree to an extent. It's the gloating I can't stand. The gloating that something isn't going to happen and the smugness that it brings. The more miserable people are, the happier these fuckers are. There's being a pessimist (which is all that they are, really) and there's being a cunt. They're not mutually exclusive.

This could equally apply to Caulkin though. And those who are basing their optimism on 3rd party info coming from Caulkin. You have a point. If it wasn't me, but someone else posting information 3rd hand, I'd be cautious too. I have no issue with people being very cautious, and to be honest, I even understand people being somewhat defeatist. What I can't understand is the constant arrogance and piss taking towards supporters with even the tiniest slither of hope. I'm confident because of information I've heard from someone who has direct contact with the buyers. Do I believe this more than I believe some miserable gonk from the forum? Yes, surprisingly. I love this place and I've been here since the 04/05 season. I wouldn't lead anyone on. If the information turns out to be dud, then I've been had as well.

It's Tuesday More than the guys claim to be known one thing or another it is the guys who patronised them who makes me cringed. I'm just passing on information. If nothing occurs this week then either things aren't as far along as people had hoped back then or they didn't know too much to begin with. I couldn't care less if someone tags me in here and has a go. Go for it. I'll not take it personally. I'll either share what I've heard or not, makes no odds to me. If it makes people feel better, those who are interested can have my number and I'll start a little WhatsApp group for the little tidbits I get. It was a genuine question. I don't think it's necessary anymore. Why’s it not? I'm just hypothesising. From what I heard he was due on a PR warpath this week if things remained the same. I think he's getting the answers and reassurances he wants. Just to let you all know, this is fourth hand information (Stavely, Caulkin, ****, then me) I'm getting. It's very succinct and not very wordy at all. Nobody is sending me updates on this, I'm actively pestering people who aren't really interested in this On a Thursday and Friday my partner works closely with a friend of Caulkin's.
