  1. If the 6 can break the ODT rule B.17.c and not be kicked out of the league in the annual ODT review(yeah right). Then the PIF should just buy us regardless of the ODT, as it has no consequence.
  2. Not gonna happen, but if the owners of the 6, may continue without the clubs being rejected from playing in the PL, then PIF should just buy the club regardless of the ODT.
  3. If they are kicked out of the domestic league and banned from internationals, this is gonna be the biggest honeytrap in history. The SL might do good for a few years, but someone has to be bottom of the league and they will be punchingbags week in week out. They will lose quality over time due to internationals being banned, and in the end it will become the "Sh*t League". All the money "cheating" clubs will be gone, and the PL will eventually be better off for it. We wont even need the saudi takeover, we just need rid of Ashley, and we can enjoy football again.
  4. Have a feeling it won’t be mid-table we‘ll be fighting for if Bruce is still here...
  5. Shelvey can't even make simple passes anymore it seems
  6. Atleast they got that past it Wenger guy out ?
  7. Feel this proposal could lead to even more corruption, as other clubs would need to play nice with the the big clubs in fear of repercussions too.
  8. I thought the o&d test was there to protect the club(Newcastle). A refusal would have been better then what we have now. We already had a unambitious leach owner. Now that he no longer wants to be here i fear he will be even worse.. I doubt he will allow much spending this window, with the ownership in limbo. So the PL has really put us in a bad situation 'for our own good'.
  9. Ohh man, I'm getting my HBA butterflies back watching ASM <3
  10. Ritchies pens are so bad, always so close to the middle, even when he does score
  11. What happens with the yellow card after then?
  12. Before that there were literally years without playing with a man advantage: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-now-gone-four-years-14206138
  13. 10k didn't and it's still a bad deal. Think they've seen 2 home goals since they started that deal Got their moneys worth then ?
  14. So Mike as pocket atleast 750k in the dataroom stage the last couple of years. Great for business being up for sale and not wanting to sell.

    Joelinton

Think he just had a rediculasly low buyout clause
  16. There is no need to worry about it... It's not gonna happen anyway.

    Rather have Ameobi at 23
  18. Wasn't giving it a go in the cups one of master Bruces selling points? ?
  19. My interest is almost completely gone, I just browse this forum every now and then. Anyway it feels like we are always at the opposing point of view from the media. We like Rafa, they slate him for being defensive and have poor possession. We don't like Bruce, they spew out defensive articles after another even tho we are defensive and have poor possesion.
  20. Sorry but thats horseshit. There was no fluke in 2012. The football was good and to try and claim otherwise now is revisionist crap. What came after was bad, but we played good football that year and the 433 was about more than individual players. I remember us beating Villa on Cisse's debut with Obertan Guthrie Perch Jonas as the midfield and still carrying a threat. We had good players, when they produced good football it had very little to do with Pardew. If anything he made them look worse than they were. Same is true of Bruce this season, he's a s*** manager getting points by relying on the defensive coaching instilled by Rafa. He's shown nothing of his own ideas or even what he would like to do in the future. He has shown some of his own ideas, it just failed, and he reverted back to Rafas tactics ?
  21. 100%, can't say I am not happy with winning. f***ing hate the state of how the club is run at the moment and how it won't ever get any better under Ashley But, I am not as confident as others are about needing to get down all the way to League 1 just for Ashley to leave. How can you be so sure we would get a more competent owner and how are you certain we will rise back to this level in a relatively quick time. Look at Leeds, Nottingham etc. Really s*** how the entire thing is at the minute. I won't fund the club and Ashley anymore, but I want us to win. You do by default. On a scale from 1-10, Ashley is probably a nine, with a owner like Blackpools chopping down legend statues at a 10. Any new owner would be in the scale of 1-8, as no one buys a football club to chop down statues of its legends just to spite the fans right from the off. We might not get as rich an owner, but what good have that brought us.
