  1. If we flip all this where we are the bad guys(not hard in the Saudi's case I suppose) and the Premier league are the good guys stopping the evil getting in ?. Will it not look bad if later down the line its proved that these two lawsuits or whatever are coordinating and everyone is working together behind the scenes to take down the Premier league? Or is that allowed legally and there is no conflict of interest l. If that's the case then wouldn't the consortium and the fan group be more open about there collusion?
  2. 12 months of Bruceball, relegation, Saudi's walk away. That's the issue. They either need to bin Bruce off now and bring a proper manager in or throw loads of money at the team in the January windows, letting a couple of real quality players win points on their own. It should have gone through this summer as we all know and we got cheated by a corrupt league. Which is very frustrating. But it's still possible this goes through, we just have to survive again. One thing we know is Ashley appears committed to this deal and if relegation could cost him this sale I don't think he would be afraid to sack Bruce. Whether he does it with enough time to spare and get the right replacement in is another question. I think we have enough quality to limp along this season and stay afloat. It's going to be painful but luckily for Bruce and I guess us too is that there is alot of crap at the bottom end of the league, as proved against Palace. Players like Callum Wilson if he stays fit, look like they we keep us alive in this league. Which is why I don't think we have seen any risk of Bruce getting the chop just yet.
  3. I get the desire for closure and for people to say they just want to know either way. But the thing is, if we as a set of fans have to endure this for the eventual reward of what's to come, is it not worth it? Sure, everyone involved from the takeover side could have just packed their shit up and moved on after pl stalling the deal initially but they didn't. They dug their heels in and despite it taking longer, are determined to get this done eventually, one way or another. Why? Because the end result outweighs the pain of endurance. Compare this frustration of waiting to know now, to how it will feel if we never got taken over and we were stuck with Mike Ashley for another 10+ years? It's because the potential reward at the end is so great that we still hope and endure. Also if we were just told definitively last year that by a certain date in 2021 we would have new rich and hopefully ambitious owners but we need to put up with another 12 months of Bruce Ball first. We would have snapped someone's hand off for that. Its because of the dragged out uncertainty and because it could and should have gone through already is what wears people down.
  4. I'll never understand someone's need to pretend to be an "ITK". Feel like this sort of thing started off with the transfer itks back in the old days of the forum that again always proved to be made up as well. But I guess it's no different to people in general just craving attention and importance. Just look at the amount of untalented YouTube vloggers exist now. I appreciate someone passing on info from other forums however, that saves the rest of us needing to go out and source it ourselves. But just present it as that. No need to shroud it in mystery and pretend it's anything else. Although I can't even remember if Mimms even did that? ODIN however was a cunt who just took the piss out of people's naivety and made something up for shits n giggles. Annoying thing about that is, why would anyone have thought someone was sad enough to make shit like that up and bother to even try and debunk it. Least that isn't what's happened this time.
  5. Premier league will be frothing at the thought of deducting us points. Also not a shock that we had some form of outbreak. We are the least professionally run club in the league. I bet there's barely any adequate precautions in place compared with other clubs.

    Joelinton

We could also look at some select statistics from the premier league website compared to our actual Striker since they joined Newcastle. Callum Wilson Appearances 9 Goals 7 Goals per match 0.78 Shots 18 Shots on target 8 Shooting accuracy %44% Joelinton Appearances 47 Goals 3 Goals per match 0.06 Shots 62 Shots on target 20 Shooting accuracy %32% He's clearly not a center forward as we all knew from the start. Even Dennis Wise scouting could tell you that. We also didn't need Wilson to come in to show him up either to prove that point. However he could still be useful in that 10 role driving from deep if he can learn to use that height to hold the ball up better and also someone teaches him how to kick through the ball properly. All is irrelevant if we ever got taken over however. With only Wilson and ASM I could see worthy enough of keeping if we were to ever go full money splash overhaul.
  7. Don't engage New Beginnings. He's the same person in the chat section who repeatedly told everyone Trump still won the election and we would see when all the legal cases came out . Repeats himself till he gets bites.
  8. His conversion rate must be ridiculous for us. Would love to see an exact statistic. Pretty sure that was his first shot last night in the 89th minute. Which showed up the difference in quality between him and joelinton even more. Joe had loads of chances before and scuffed every single one. Wilson scores with his first one. Feels like he would be close to 100% with shots on target and goals scored this season.
  9. Seeing Sissoko and even wijnaldum do so well in there deeper roles for other clubs. Makes me laugh that we never tried them in those positions? Sissoko played the majority as an out and out right winger for us. I'm guessing purely cus he was fast.
  10. I'm sure if spurs win this it will be hailed as a mourinho masterclass. Still pisses me off that Rafa got so much stick for how he set up against Man City with a far inferior squad to what this spurs team is. Weaker City team aswell now compared to back then. That win when rondon I think got one of the goals, was tactically magnificent. I vaguely remember Neville very publically slagged Rafa off for not "having a go" more when we narrowly lost in a previous game.
  11. Some lovely football from both teams here. Worlds away from our bullshit
  12. Different sports were playing here. No wonder "big 6" want to block our takeover. Must be fun for them watching their teams utterly dominate us.
  13. oh ok fair enough. But hopefully it should be a fairly quick process if it does then?
  14. Maybe a silly question, but has it been explained why arbitration this time round would be quicker than the quoted 1-2 year estimate we were told before? Which lead to PIF declining it previously.
  15. I'm pretty sure this only came about because ASM scored that wonder goal running through the middle vs Burnley. What Bruce failed to realise is ASM was still playing from the left that game and just went and found the space at the time. Just like he did coming from the right for his assist in the same game. No point overthinking things though. Bruce doesn't do "Tactics" as he stated himself.
  16. 3 of which already managed us ?
  17. Just had flashes of our next manager if Ashley stays will be Tony Pulis. According to those stats he'd be an improvement ? ?
  18. Fuck is almiron doing there. Make a run for asm. Or someone just make a forward run. It's like the Ben arfa days where players stand and watch and don't give any options off the ball
  19. Everyone overplaying against a high pressing team. Almost like they haven't been prepared properly for this opposition ?
  20. Murphy and Hendrick looking shit tonight. Think this was defo a game for hayden if he was fit
