Has killed his England dream now, the cunt
-
I think the "Ashley wants him out because of the 8 year contract" is wishful thinking. There is far more evidence to suggest Pardew and Ashley are tight and on the same page. Still, we can dream
-
Nit picking but I can see what you're saying. Personally I'm going to reserve judgement until we get a better manager/coaching staff. There have been far too many examples of his qualities for me to ignore his potential. If he was a late twenties guy I probably wouldn't have much expectation but he has every attribute needed and is young enough to, if given correct coaching, to step up to much higher levels.
-
Ashley won't have even watched the game.
-
He is an absolute perfect fit for us. So fucking annoying that droopyfaced wanker pinched him from us last season. Unless we have some secret deal in place, I simply cannot see us keeping him. Wages, fee, ambition. A shame for us when he goes and a shame for him too I believe as, like Ba, I think he won't quite have the same joy in another team.

There was a South Park episode like this wasn't there? Can't remember which but someone does something wrong but then loads of evil people come out to defend them. Might have been the episode when Butters mum thinks she killed him and blames it on "some Puerto-Rican guy" Almost worse for Pardew that he has people like Barton and Rodney Marsh backing him.
-
Wasn't someone on here saying he was absolutely useless on the ball and worse than Amdy Faye? I do hate some of the over top reactions some of our fans have to players. Some even wrote off De Jong after two games where he was unfit and only playing due to Remy's suspension.

2 minutes of football and about 13 minutes of waffle about Pardew I imagine. Feel sorry for the players to be honest. Their performance will be completely forgotten
-
Probably head-butted Ben Arfa and Santon as well causing the so called "injury" recently
-
Does feel sometimes like, when the right players are out there, that they occasionally just decide to play some good football and boss the opposition because they know they are better. Happened a few times this year, Villa away, Palace away, West Ham away etc. I never feel like it's because of some tactical masterclass from Pardew. Just feels like, when they are in the mood they can beat most teams.
-
agree. Cisse or Shola and you know we're carrying dead weight.
-
Still fairly incapable of taking on his full back. But he does add a lot to the team overall.
-
He's just an idiot isn't he. I mean the guy is winning 1:3 away from home with 15mins to go, why even get involved in anything. Just sit back and enjoy your team's victory. But no, his ego takes over as usual. Cannot wait to see the back of him, but felt like that long before today anyway.
-
Always good when playing that role generally speaking. He sits and allows everyone else to push forward while he mops up and controls the midfield. Impresses me how controlled he was after such a soft early yellow card, although he's had that before and rarely gets two yellows and sent off. Infact don't think he ever has, always been a straight red if memory serves.
-
Wish this would have happened when we were on one of our awful losing runs. He seemed to have zero pressure on his position from the press/media despite clearly being useless at his job.
-
blatantly going to be shown over and over on those premier league compilation things.
-
I love how casual and blasé he was about it in his interviews, obviously not aware of the shit storm that was about to erupt in the media
-
The problem is, he's doing a perfect job from Ashleys view point. Comfortably 8th in the league. Not in a Europa league place, Out of both cups, No real danger of finishing any lower than 9th-10th. Complicit with all player sales and lack of investment. Uses every press conference/interview to lower expectations. Plus, when has Ashley ever given a shit about PR. If Pardew is banned for the rest of this season, so what? From Ashley's point of view it's job done. No Europa league, no relegation.
-
Does seem a bit silly that it's ok for players to do it and just get banned for a few days but if a manager (former player) does it to a player then it gets the reaction it's getting. Not that I'm defending him as I'd love nothing more for him to get sacked for this and never be seen again.
-
Having seen it back now, it was far worse than Remy's "headbutt" but yeah in the real world it's nothing but in football it's bad. Now i know why Remy did it. Probs gets told in training, "if anyone gets in your face, headbutt the cunt". Please sack him I know we won't but at least finally the press will be on him. Shame it didn't happen during our terrible recent run.
-
I think if it was a manager I liked I'd be annoyed at the over the top reactions but seeing as it's Pardew I'm happy to see him get all the abuse he's got coming to him
-
Seriously, I know the incident will be talked about but to not even mention the actual "football" that occurred is offensive.
-
No mention of the game at all on Soccer Saturday, just the Pardew incident. Disgusting but utterly predictable from Sky.
-
Stelling on Soccer Saturday going mental about Pardew and barely mentioned the fact we just won 1-4 away from home. Shame a similar tone will be in the media for the rest of the weekend.
-
Shame that fuckface is going to steal the headlines from a great win.
