Who do Nantes have that we might like?
-
Wish we had some cheap deals lined up, like the Sissoko and Gouffran deals from last year. These expensive fees always make me think they are never going to happen as we simply won't spend the money.
-
Fulham SHOULD be far better after the window, but obviously no guarantee the new guys will settle. Still it will probably be a far harder game down there now than it would have been if we played them already.
-
He has the ability to lift the crowd and in turn lift the rest of the team. Perhaps the only player we have who can single handedly grab the game by the scruff of the neck and drag us forward. I fear though that he will be our only weapon and become quite easy for them to nullify, especially if he's not at 100%
-
Just couldn't bring themselves to offer the £11m they apparently want
-
Likely team I expect: Krul Debuchy Williamson Taylor Santon Anita Tiote Ben Arfa Sissoko Sammy Shola At least the midfield looked good against Norwich but we couldn't even score then with Remy. Hope home advantage plays some part!
-
Nar Debuchy or Tiote will be the ones who get sent off if anyone does.

Ouch. Got to hurt when your bidding for a player and before you can even reach an agreement the player steps in and says "hold on, don't bother I don't want to join you" Still reeks of not really wanting to sign him. Or if we did, they then quite literally didn't even make contact until after Cabaye was sold.
-
Talented player with a promising future but not what we need. He tends to play in one of the deeper roles in midfield.
-
So going off what Pardew has said, we approaching in the sense that missing the remainder of that game was enough punishment for the crime and that 3 games would be excessive. Yeah ok good luck with that one.
-
Taarabt's been pretty poor at Fulham no? What the hell persuaded Milan to sign him?
-
I fear we would only have got away with this if there had been no contact between the heads. But unfortunately there was and that wanker made a meal of it, but that's all they will point to and it will be upheld When was the last time the FA did anything to benefit us anyway? It's usually the opposite, like our players always getting done on retrospective action (cabaye) or that whole Mcmanaman face last year.

Really did look like he was about to top himself in that clip SSN showed. Perhaps he's finally a bit fed up having to chat absolute bullshit to protect the owner. That or he really is bricking it for the derby.
-
I'd hate to see us give him away if we don't bring anyone else in.
-
I hope we have someone good to argue against the red card and not Kinnear.
-
That will be why we desperately appealed Remy's red card then
-
Hatem had been ill all week in the build up to the game according to Pardew. That will be why he was fatigued. He simple has to start.
-
Just watching the press conference clip on SSN. Man the quote sounded good in text form but if you hear him talking about it, sounded like he wanted to kill himself. Very unlikely this is happening at all.
-
Interesting that he's atleast acknowledged the interest.
-
That Dermot Gallagher was just on sky saying why it would always be a red. I'm sure those wankers on the fa panel will have the same mindset. 3 fucking games out just for that .
-
haha probably. But loads of ours have said similar in the past. That they are happy at newcastle but in football you never know what might happen etc. That's basically all he's said. So he doesn't upset his club if he ends up staying and he also doesn't offend us if he does come.
-
The quotes from Grenier are standard player quotes when they get asked about a potential transfer.
-
At times when he was drifting around and playing those through balls early on against Norwich he looked every inch a number 10/attacking midfielder. Don't know if it was frustration or lack of space but by the end of that half and in the 2nd he sort of switched back to his just dribble, take on everyone mode.
-
I worry how much of our attacking threat came through Remy against Norwich. I know Ben Arfa was pulling the strings but most of the real goal threat came from Remy with his two shots that hit the post. Hopefully we still have enough to score some goals.
-
I really hope this isn't another case of squabbling over £1m or so. Shame the rich teams get to just use an Alan Partridge style of haggling. "Price is £25m". "Will you take £24m.......?
