He seemed surprised at people being angry when the summer window closed saying "hey we got Remy" Probably just be the same but with De Jong.

We all wondered why Ashley didn't like loan signings but now here we are, he's discovered them and he's realised we don't actually have to permanently sign anyone now. It's the Mike Ashley wet dream!

Every time I see a replay of this it pisses me off almost as much as our whole lack of transfers. How in the holy fuck can you rescind one and not the other? They both go head to head, one throws himself to the floor, the other stands his ground. They have the fucking video evidence right there from multiple angles! How can you possibly punish one player but not the other? If we weren't concerned before about being fucked over by the FA then I don't know what we do now because they are consistently season in and season out taking the complete piss out of us.

I think the last few windows except maybe for last January (although I still wanted a striker going into the last day) I've managed to get my anger out the day before deadline day and somehow learnt to just accept we aren't doing anything on the final day, despite nearly every other team doing some sort of business. Deep down I know I'll still be holding out hope right to the last minute we may do something, but accepting that it's almost certainly not going to happen somehow makes it easier.

Think the fans have been nice and sedated so far this season, what with being comfortable in 8th and having the odd good result etc. However, I think things will turn very sour should we lose on Saturday. The fans loved Yohan and with the extremely poor summer transfer window still fresh in the memory. The failures in this one should be enough to get fans voicing their angry once more. I'd love to think we could force some kind of change, starting with Kinnear being removed from the club as a gesture of goodwill. But unfortunately I fear apathy is far to rife within our fan base now and we are stuck.

Thought he'd already signed for Fulham earlier?
-
erm........ nah I'll just join in. Cunt.

He just means he's forced to play them now whereas if Cabaye was still here he'd happily leave them rotting on the bench.

Chris "nice guy" Hughton.

Spot on. As much as I disliked Llambias he still did his role well it seemed when it came to transfers. Conspiracy theory or whatever you want to call it but it seems obvious now after a second window has passed, exactly what is job is. It is exactly what people said the day he walked back into this club. Disgusting.

Agree, If Cisse is fit I would start him. No matter what has gone on before, it's a fresh start and we need him.

Thoroughly fucked off with the whole club after this week. Any idiot would tell you it's far harder to sign a replacement for a star player once they have gone. Especially when they know how much money you received. Which leads me to assume they knew what they were doing and had absolutely no intention of spending any money, evidenced by not even being in contact with any targets until the penultimate day of the window. Lose the derby and I think I may need to take a break from it all because sometimes I think, is it really worth getting so invested. The way we are run these days is just utterly depressing.

Tiote knows what's up. As good a choice as anyone. In fact being captain almost makes him play with more responsibility. Hope I haven't jinxed it now

Would top off a truely horrendous week getting beat by these fuckers. Feels like everything is falling into place perfectly for the them
-
Holy fuck that's going to happen isn't it!
-
How fucking often have we heard that going into the last day of the window. "expected to be quiet at newcastle" "closed for business" "keeping our powder dry" Fuck them.
-
Ok now I'm pissed. Fair enough if they both remained banned, but by lifting Johnson's they are clearly suggesting they thought it was a genuine headbutt? Once again we are fucked over by the FA. When was the last time they did anything that benefited us? Seriously? I cannot remember a single thing since the Shearer vs Lennon thing

Looks class on youtube. To be honest though I'd take almost anyone at this moment as long as they weren't a known to be shit player from the prem.
-
Youtube tells me he's a good , ben arfa-like dribbler.
-
Good if we genuinely do have a back up option to Grenier. Would be surprised by that. The face the agent said he spoke to Pardew directly makes me think it's bullshit though
-
2 cracking goals this season I believe

Yeah as we only lost twice. Unless you're assuming it's nailed on we lose on saturday, in that case fair enough
