If he didn't rate Shola as some sort of 2nd coming (feel free to link an interview where he gushes about how much he loves shola) then he would have peddled him along time ago when we had Ba, Cisse, Best all at the club ahead of him. Shola is clever as fuck. He's known all along even when he is out the team that eventually people will leave and he shoots right back up the ranking. If Cisse goes he is effectively first choice striker. I'll let people think about that for awhile.

Walker, Vertonghen, Dawson, Lennon,Adebayor/Defoe, Parker, Dempsey, Siggurdsson all were pretty much first choice players last season. Anyway it's a preseason game that means fuck all, just based on that game that's how it looked to me.

First half was a car crash and I don't think anyone in it benefited from the run out at all. Ben Arfa and Sissoko in particular. Hatem barely got the ball at all in that postion and Sissoko looks far from comfortable on the wing. Stop fucking around with players best positions Pardew you twat.
